Delicious food. Fried chicken was delicious, and portions are BIG. Came in from out of town and its the first restaurant I've been at in a while where every dish came out piping hot and fresh! Service was good. Real laid back vibe.

The food: incredible. But let me tell you about the service. We had my boyfriend’s birthday here, and they made him feel like a million bucks. The top-notch service (for a *casual* restaurant, btw) was what made our experience better than we could have imagined.
First of all, I made a reservation for 20, and the crew was overly friendly, even in email. We arrived to find a special table set for us with water glasses and flowers. The woman taking the order was great, and my boyfriend was doted on with a free drink, a gift, and kind words, making him feel super recognized. We also could bring in our own cake, which was convenient. Throughout the meal, we were checked on by Midwest Mike West - what a guy!
This was a reminder that a restaurant doesn’t need to be a white-tablecloth steakhouse to be a 5-star experience. You can enjoy messy chicken the size of your face, hands covered in Debo sauce, and leave feeling on top of the world - all because of staff who go above and beyond! This dinner set an outstanding tone for the evening. THANK YOU.

We came to Dirty Birds with sky-high expectations and it far exceeded everything we hoped for. The food is amazing (really, really good), but it takes a backseat to the service. We were greeted immediately on the way in and quite literally had someone running out to say bye to us. This was our first time here, but it certainly won't be the last.
The Omahawt fried chicken sandwich is the size of a dinner plate. The tenders are incredibly crisp, but still juicy on the inside - somehow the breading doesn't fall off when you bite into them. And the house made sauces are so tasty. We tried the honey mustard, BBQ, and ranch ... but the De(e)bo Sauce is on another level. We bought a pint to go - it's that good.
Long story, short ... this place is a must stop in Omaha. The food is unbelievable and you'll leave feeling like family.

I eat at Dirty Birds somewhat often because they never disappoint and always wow me! My most recent meal included the large weekly salad, which changes slightly seasonally and always delights me with colors, textures, and flavors that make my mouth sing. Also had the 15-layer lasagna and it was easily the best lasagna I’ve ever had. The pasta was obviously fresh, cooked to perfection, and melted in my mouth in a harmonious marriage with the bright, flavorful sauce and perfect amount of ricotta. It wasn’t heavy despite being a large portion. There were lovely bits of caramelized crispy-crunchies on top where the pasta and sauce cooked a little darker, adding beautiful dimension to my portion. The gorgeous pool of pesto around the lasagna and the soft-yet-chewy homemade roll that sopped up the remaining sauce were a dream that saved me from the indignity of licking my plate. Finally, my partner had the OG chicken sandwich and after sharing a bite with me I said, “yep, Dirty Birds makes the best chicken in this town.” We’d both had it before, of course, but we never get tired of what they bring to the table. I could go on about other dishes there—the blue corn hush puppies, the berry and Brie cakes, the biscuits, the perfect pickles… Just go there. These guys love what they do and it shows in everything they craft. I adore them.

Wow! Lots of choices! Even though known for their chicken, I went with the Cubano! Excellent! I added the beet salad as my side. The peanut sauce lining the bowl gave the salad a second dimension! I got another order to go! Great service! Very friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Seriously best lasagna I have ever had. I highly suggest everything else as well. We come here a lot , but the specials are different. This is the first time I was able to try the lasagna as they are always out by the time I get there. They are a great establishment !!!!

Best chicken sandwich I have ever had. The atmosphere was awesome as we met some awesome people at the communal tables and had an amazing time. Would highly recommend this place.
Not super awesome for kids as we ended up ordering chicken tenders but they were not super good for kids. We did wait for 45 minutes for food and no communication on it during the wait. Otherwise super amazing experience and cannot wait to try the food again next time.
