My family and I had one of the greatest fast food dining experiences of our lives here. The burgers? Legendary. The fries? Addictive. The vibe? Immaculate.
But the real MVP? Josh, the wizard behind the counter. This guy doesn’t just take your order—he elevates it. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it made the whole meal feel like a celebration.
Long live Don and Millie’s—and someone give Josh a raise (or at least a crown). 👑🍔🎉

Don and Millie's is Omaha's best-kept fast food secret. Better than other regional food chains by far. Cheap beer and margaritas, greasy, meaty cheeseburgers, hot fries, etc., make this a standout. Also, as a soup aficionado, this place ranks among the best for their seasonal potato soup.
Flip Out
We were in the area and this local chain was listed on various sites as something to try. We went for lunch and Mrs. Flip Out asked the cashier what the Frenchee was. The lady said it was a deep fried grilled cheese so we got one to share. Little Flip Out had hot dog and Littlest Flip Out had mini corn dogs. They really enjoyed them. I had the foot long coney with chili and all the works. Mrs. Flip Out had a cheeseburger and enjoyed it. The cashier recommended the half and half order of onion rings and fries, and that was a great suggestion. It was a great stop for a local chain.

Me, my wife, and my 2 boys came in for dinner and after we ordered I went to the men's restroom and encountered an employee at the urinal on his phone urinating. I was at the urinal 2 down when he finishes up and leave the restroom. I walked out and told the ladie at the front counter which was the manager that the employee that was now behind her, had used the restroom and failed to wash his hands after finishing and was now making food with his hands. I asked her to make sure he doesn't make my food. She turned around and said something and never apologized or gave me any incentive what's so ever to to not ask for my money so I am now telling someone who might care? But that was nasty and I will not eat at that location ever again.

Stopped in on a Sunday for lunch with my daughter on our way to an appointment. It was very busy, but I was quite happy with the service. The food came out fast, and everyone was friendly. They only had one employee in the lobby cleaning, and he was trying to keep up with the cleaning as best he could. He did quite well but was having a bit of difficulty. Even so, it was a good visit!

Spent a significant amount of money on a to go order. They made the order wrong and I brought one sandwich back made totally incorrectly and another sandwich so salty it was inedible. The drive through clerk basically called me a liar saying I didn't order it the way I wanted it (essentially it was my error in what I ordered). The other hamburger had so much salt it was inedible. I brought them back, and they made the first sandwich wrong again. I called the store and lady hung up on me. Really upsetting as I have been a good and loyal customer of Don and Millies since they opened. Really a shame they let the employee owned company drive the product in the ground with rude people and bad service and a deteriorating product. Used to be my family's favorite place to eat burgers.
