Super friendly staff with a well-maintained interior, and the pizza and cheesy garlic bread was tremendous. Definitely at the top of our list for another pizza!

So My husband went to pick up 100.00 worth of pizza, had to wait a bit, asked for a cup so he could get some water and a little juice accidentally got in his cup, a waitress asked if he was paying for it!!!! Are you freaking Serious??? Just paid 100 bucks for pizza that he had to wait for after working 12 hours on a 90 degree day and accidentally hit a wrong button for a second. You people should be giving out free soda at least!!!

We are regulars at the rockbrook location, but due to staffing on the weekends we placed our order in Elkhorn. We live off of 144 and 370 so the drive is 30 minutes. Which was fine because we enjoy the pizza and it is one of our regular places to go. Tonight I get there and pick up my pizza and notice that the pepperoni is heavily lacking. I ask the lady (who I believe is the owner) if the pepperoni is under the cheese her reply is “idk” and ends it at that. I ask her to ask the cook if it is under the cheese she comes back and says that all of the pepperoni is on top. I tell her that I don’t want to pay for a pizza that isn’t made correctly. She mumbles under her breath and I have to ask her to repeat herself. She said “I said sorry you don’t want it” I was like no I want a pizza I just don’t want to pay for a pizza that isn’t made right. We get this pizza a lot. I know how it looks. She could care less. She snatched the pizza off the counter and handed me a recipe for a refund I told her I just drove over 30 mins for this pizza and now have nothing. Again, she could care less. Very disappointed. We have went here for YEARS at least once a month and I’ve never been treated so awful. When you have a regular, or honestly any customer, your job is to make the mess up right. Not stand there annoyed and acting like you don’t care. I made an hour round trip for nothing, and the best I got was a refund that will take 5-7 business days. Safe to say we will be looking for a new pizza place.

My fiancé and I have ordered large pepperoni pizzas on numerous occasions from the Rockbrook location, and we have never had an issue. It has always been good with an adequate amount of pepperonis. The Rockbrook location was closed, so we had to go to the Elkhorn location instead last night. We live 25-30 mins away from this location. She drove all the way out there just to get a pizza that barely had cheese on it and pepperonis. Each slice had 2 pepperonis on it, if that. (Pic on the left) We had never experienced that at the other location before. The pizza looked awful. Who wants to pay $24 for a pizza that has 2 pepperonis per pizza slice and barely any cheese on it? No one in their right mind would. Even Little Caesar's gives you more cheese and pepperonis on your pizza and for half the cost. The lady my fiancé dealt with was older and had grayish hair. She was extremely rude, not apologetic at all when my fiancé voiced her concerns with her in a respectful manner. She was like, “Well, this is how it is, so you want it or not.” Obviously, she said no, she wants to pay for a pizza the way it's supposed to be, and she snatched the pizza off the counter and said, “I can give you a refund,” then stormed out. When you make a mistake, you don't take it out on a loyal paying customer that has given you repeated business and even referred your business to other people and bought you more business. Common sense should tell you that you apologize and make it right, especially when it's your fault for making a bad pizza and the customer just drove 25-30 mins for it. I would never recommend Don Carmelo's in Elkhorn to anybody. Horrible customer service and horrible pizza. This whole experience has been extremely off-putting to the point where we are now done going to Don Carmelo’s, period. I'm going to make sure I make it a point to warn as many people as possible so they can avoid wasting their time and money as we did. I don't want anybody else to experience being treated the way my fiancé was treated when she didn't do anything to warrant it. I have over 193,000 followers and climbing on my TikTok alone. I will be sharing this experience with them all in hopes of saving people money and their time from experiencing such horrible service like my fiancé did. I would never recommend this place to anyone and will do my best to ensure people know the type of establishment that Don Carmelo is. Don Carmelo employees treat their customers who have been loyal to them with zero respect and get attitudes when they mess up. They don't care about their customers and don't care about fixing their mistakes. They only care about getting attitudes when you respectfully tell them you want your pizza done right, like any person with common sense would want, especially after driving 25-30 mins for a $24 pizza. We then ordered Williamsburg Pizza in Omaha and it was amazing. This is how a pepperoni pizza should look. (Pic on the right) We ordered an XL and added fresh mozzarella to it and it was phenomenal. It was only $6 more than what we would’ve spent at Don Carmelo’s. Needless to say, we found our new pizza spot. I would recommend checking them out. Way more bang for your buck and they actually treat their customers like human beings.

We dined in at the Elkhorn location and shared a large Tony’s Special Calzone. It was phenomenal!
Their food was so delicious we decided to have pizzas delivered the next night. Our favorite pie is in the photo, It was a basil, tomato, onion and feta. YUMMM!!! Can’t say enough good things about Don Carmelo’s and love that we are supporting a local, family business.

I’ve been eating pizza here for 20 years. I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in my time and every time I bite into a fresh slice…I’m reminded why it’s my favorite place to get pizza! Try the margarita, classic pepperoni or another favorite of mine is pepperoni sausage combination!!

It’s been a while, but historically Don Carmelos has been my go to for my family for pizza in Omaha. The last time I had Don Carmelo‘s was on 204th St. and I’ve had frozen pizza that was better. I’m pretty sure that the pizza we had that day is the same pizza that they serve at the skating rink. Sorry just being honest I would love to know what happened to the Carmelo’s that we fell in love with. And it was expensive.
