Dynamite Woodfire Grill

Delicious wood fired steaks! Great service and wine selection. Highly recommended if in the Omaha area. This restaurant is located inside the Farnam Hotel across the Gene Leahy park!

Visited for a friend’s birthday dinner. The decor and service were superb! We started with drinks and I asked for something tart, and the server came back with a Monkey 47 Blood Orange Gimlet. Shut up and take my money! It was a fantastic drink.. I had 2. I ordered the filet with nocturne demi and whipped potatoes, when it came out it was very over cooked from what I ordered. Our fabulous server swooped in and got it taken care of lickety-split. When it came back it was cooked to perfection, and melt in your mouth good! Ended the meal with a divine slice of chocolate cake. My only critique is the cornbread that comes before the meal. All I can say is that it’s bread and has corn in it. It was rather dry and didn’t have any flavor. Overall fantastic meal!

We had a delicious meal at Dynamite while in town for the College World Series. The vibe of the restaurant was perfect for a post game meal - elegantly casual. The digital tablet menus were cool and featured a nice selection of wine and cocktails. Our server Janeva was super friendly and attentive. My steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the grilled asparagus side had a delightful kiss of citrus - kudos to Chef Jose! You could taste the love in this meal. Finally, we were seated where we could see the food coming out of the kitchen and everything looked delicious- hope we can return to Omaha to taste more!

Dynamite has long been one of my favorite spots in Omaha, and I've always appreciated the ambiance, service, and attention to detail that set it apart. That said, my recent visit with my girlfriend left us a bit underwhelmed. Our server was genuinely kind and professional no complaints there. However, one of the highlights I always look forward to is the signature cornbread that's typically served complimentary. We were told it would be out shortly, but unfortunately, it never arrived. We even noticed plates of cornbread sitting at the pass. Eventually, a different server delivered one to a nearby couple who had been seated after us. It was a disappointing moment, and we couldn't help but feel somewhat overlooked, especially as a younger couple in what's typically an attentive dining environment. To add to that, the pacing of the evening felt noticeably slower than usual, and I wasn't asked how I wanted my burger cooked, something that caught me off guard given the restaurant's usual level of detail. As someone who regularly dines at Omaha's top restaurants, this experience fell short of the standard I've come to associate with Dynamite. I still enjoy the space and the concept, and I'll be back, but I do hope to see the consistency and attentiveness return to form on my next visit.

This restaurant always delivers. Service is great, food is good and has a very relaxed atmosphere.

Janeva was an outstanding server. She took great care to make sure we had excellent service. Our meals were fresh and very flavorful and our filet was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience. Pricy, but it will be immediately added to our 'special occasion' places in Omaha, and probably at the top of the list. The filet was one of the best I've ever head, and our waitress was amazing.

A great experience. The service was a little slow, but it doesn't seem to be a very staffed place, which is fine. Food took a bit to come out but everything was just delicious. Warning: Your hair and clothes will smell like a bonfire for a couple days after eating here. It's all part of the experience.
