One of my new favorite places in Omaha. La Guanaca is top tier in every way. The pupusas are fireeee and extremely filling. You get good portions on your rice and beans, too. The owner is very kind and personable which makes eating here even better. Good food made by good people!

The best oxtails in Omaha. I know you wouldn't expect it but better than the Caribbean place. Always fresh.

Had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally had the chance this summer. Food was takeout, tho a big believer in eating your food in the restaurant if possible, take away is never as good (or hot). Despite that, food was great, I loved my dish and so did my husband. Very casual vibe, the person behind the counter was super friendly and helpful. I have so many top tier Mexican/south American restos in Omaha and this was out of the way for us, so I’m not sure this will be a reg on our rotation but definitely worth checking out for sure!

First off let me say I rarely leave reviews and I am a foodie. After the service and food I experienced yesterday, I had to post because I can’t wait to go back and try more things. The owners are amazing and make you feel so welcome! They go above and beyond.
We had a quesadilla, a burrito, and a pupusa with rice and beans. It was all great. I love pico de gallo and was surprised by the heat of the jalapeño. I had never had a pupusa and it was good, no heat, and I believe gluten free. The burrito was absolutely huge. The quesadilla was the absolute best!! They won over some very picky eaters!

The food is really not good...and the worst thing is that it is very expensive.
