El Muchacho Alegre is a spacious and inviting restaurant with top-notch cleanliness and a cute decor. The comfortable seating and fantastic service make it a great spot for a casual meal. The Chicken Primavera, Fried Taco Birria, and Guac and chips were all delicious and gone in a jiff. The staff goes above and beyond, and the pricing is fair. The chimichanga smothered in cheese sauce with shredded beef was one of the best ever had, and the tacos el pastor were also highly enjoyable. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, with attentive and courteous service. The Tamarind Margarita and Cazuela Jalisco are highly recommended, and the restaurant often offers specials like free tequila shots and discounts on special occasions. The crew is friendly and accommodating, making large groups feel welcome and comfortable. The only downside is the challenging parking situation.
