If you value good service and respect as a customer, avoid Fernando’s on Saturdays.

There is a manager on duty named Tanisha who creates one of the most hostile and unprofessional atmospheres I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. Instead of supporting her team and serving customers, she bullies employees to the point they’re afraid to even approach her. That kind of leadership has no place in hospitality.

My daughter and I have a weekend tradition chips and dip from Fernando’s. It’s supposed to be our little moment together. Normally, they’ll sell me the dip on its own, no problem. But this past Saturday, Tanisha flat-out refused. Not because she couldn’t, but because she wouldn’t. She didn’t want to press a few extra buttons, so instead of making a sale, she chose to be dismissive and rude. Think about that: a manager turning away paying customers, with attitude on top of it.

When I tried to use a $5 coupon from the app something meant to welcome customers back she talked over me, as if my voice didn’t matter. I wasn’t asking for anything free. I was simply using the offers Fernando’s itself provides, and paying full price otherwise.

Here’s the bottom line: in this business, respect is everything. Customers aren’t an inconvenience. Employees shouldn’t be treated like burdens. And managers shouldn’t poison the experience with arrogance and hostility. If you wouldn’t use that tone with your family or with God you shouldn’t use it with customers.

Fernando’s ownership: take note. You’re losing loyal customers not because of the food, but because of poor leadership. Until Tanisha is either retrained or removed from management, I strongly suggest people skip this location on Saturdays.

I've eaten at Fernandos many times. Fernandos offers phenomenal quality and customer service. The best Mexican food in Omaha.

Ordered the number 1 taco plate and the tacolada.
The beans and rice on both plates were cold and the tacolada was barely warm.
We haven't been here in a few years and probably won't be going back

I want to like this place, but there are so many Mexican restaurants that are much better

Do you like bland food? Is mayonnaise too spicy for you? If so you'll love the food at this Mexican't Restaurant. The cherry coke they made for me at the bar was the highlight of a meal that I paid way to much for.

We got Fajitas and a Chimichinga they were both bland as hell. It tasted like they just chopped up some steak, soaked it in water and then squeezed it off and put it in the food. Not a single hint of spice. They don't have salsa or any kind of sauce, just pico.

Save your time, save your money, pass this place by.

Stopped in for a late lunch. We hadn't been there in quite some time. We will be definitely back. White queso dip was great and as we there in off hours even got a small discount. Please stop in if you're in the area.

Website says they close at 9 pm I show up at 8:46 pm and doors are locked. Beings I work in a restaurant and it says we are open until 3 o’clock. We literally do not lock our doors until 3 o’clock. Our grills are not shut off until 3 o’clock business is running until 3 o’clock so if your business closes at 8:45, maybe you should change your hours on your website that you close business at 8:45 because it is very misleading one disappointed customer because I am very loyal to you guys. No service. And all I wanted was a margarita and some queso and chips.
