Went here with Larry and it was an awesome experience. The burgers were absolutely on point—juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. You can really tell they care about quality, from the seasoning to the bun that held everything together without falling apart. The fries were just as good: crispy, hot, and perfectly salted. Honestly, they complemented the burger really well.

The food and atmosphere at Fig are wonderful, plus it's easy to order and get seated. I'd been out for lunch with my wife and mother in-law who can't walk well and tried a different restaurant nearby who seated us and then ignored us, so we left and came to Fig, knowing we could get in easily and get good food. It's a little pricey but, as I said, the food is always good, with good iced tea (which I like) and I love the breakfast sandwich they have, with us also having turkey and cheddar sandwiches and fries, with all the portions being generous.

The two of us enjoyed the turkey sandwich on sour dough bread - the bread was thick and nutritious and the price was right. It was delicious! The best part was the cordial gent who took our order. He was so up beat and welcoming. I forgot my green tea and he ran out all the way to our handicapped parking spot to deliver it. A real gem, great view, very clean! Super place to remember my thoroughly modern mother’s birthday.

We spent the day at the Kiewit Luminarium Museum with our 9yo daughter and decided to just grab lunch at the cafe during our visit. Our daughter eats gluten-free for health reasons and we hadn't planned for lunch and just expected we'd have to get her a fruit cup or something. She was absolutely ecstatic to realize they have gluten-free chicken strips and their fryers are gluten free, not only that there were gluten free pastries that were super tasty. This honestly was the best part of our entire 4-day trip to Omaha for her and she begged us to go back for every meal which we were not able to do. Our sandwiches were also great and we were so thankful to find this little gem!

For Omaha I thought the meal was very expensive as you order at the counter and your food is brought to you. I got water to drink and my bill was almost $30!

I have been here all afternoon working and love the atmosphere. There’s a steady foot traffic, but the staff is very attentive. The cleanliness is spectacular, and being attached to a kids museum I’m very impressed! The food was alright, nothing crazy, but was filling, and it mostly is self service which is good if you’re trying to work or study. The view of the river is very nice when you give yourself a break or just want a change of scenery.
