While visiting the Lewis & Clark Trail HQ, Fig was a convenient lunch spot. Since it was nearly 2:00 pm on a Monday, we had the place nearly to ourselves.
The food was good, although a bit pricey for the portions served. We very much enjoyed the atmosphere and the views of the river and bridge. Service was friendly and efficient.
Parking: Parking lot is across the street.

Service not good... order at the counter...after eating we were all still hungry. The avocado toast was sub par-no flavor?? Great location and pastry and breads. For a Pellegrino, avocado toast and squash bread was $26.

Food is not worth the price and we had a caterpillar in our salad. We brought it to their attention and then didn’t say much. Everything was very salty and the salad was very wilted too. The quiche was great!

The Chai latte at Fig is AMAZING! One of the best chai lattes I have ever had! Cannot recommend it enough! And their chia puddings are absolutely delicious!

High-end concept attached to a kid's museum, which seems out of place. I paid $30 for a water, iced tea, and hummus bowl. Having just lived in Seattle for 5 years, these are Seattle prices, pretty expensive for Seattle too.
The hummus bowl is elevated, but I was so rushed with my kid that I didn't notice they omitted the iced tea until after we'd left. While waiting, I did, however, hear the staff bemoan loudly about their lot in life. Got it. They're too busy complaining to remember an order with 3 items. As a result, I paid $30 for a hummus bowl and a water.
And tip screens whose pre-loaded options are 20%, 25%, and 28% at a counter service café is just a touch presumptuous.

Got there at 4:40 because the website said they would be open until 6:00. The doors were locked, they were no longer serving food and they actually close at 5:00 p.m.
My husband and I went to the Kiewit Luminarium while we were visiting Omaha, (which is a fun way to escape the heat if you're not afraid to let your inner child out). We stopped in Fig between exploring the first floor and second floor. My husband got the lox bagel, and I got the quiche (loaded baked potato flavored) and salad combo. The lox bagel was especially delicious!
On our way out, we stopped back in so I could get a vanilla latte. It was expertly made, and not too sweet like some places make lattes these days.
We would definitely go out of our way to eat at Fig next time we are in Omaha.

$6 for two cans of soda is ridiculous. Please get with serious with these prices.

Fig is as beautiful as it is delicious. First off the views of the riverfront are breathtaking and there are plenty of great windows to soak it in. The Quiche was both decadent and light with a flaky crust and a well balanced flavor. My dad devoured the turkey sandwich, which was portioned generously and dressed with a cranberry infused sauce. They also have delicious sweet treats baked by Lola’s and clearly made with care. Fig is a great breakfast or lunch option, and I may even have to stop by for dinner close to the weekend ♥️
Vegetarian options: Looks like they had some nice options, my quiche was meatless but it was delicious and satisfying
Kid-friendliness: They had a nice kids menu, many were ordering the chicken tenders
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is one main level and easy to maneuver. There’s also seating outside. Staff is friendly and helpful too

Small cafe atmosphere. Great place to go to bring out the laptop for work or school. The food variety is impressive considering it's a small cafe. The vanilla chai was the best I've had anywhere else! I had to talk myself out of getting more. The staff was kind even during the lunch rush. The food presentation was decent, but the flavor makes up for the "aesthetic". Not a long waiting period to receive the order at the table. Indoor and outdoor seating with covering available. Parking can be questionable as it's connected to The Luminarium. Need a grab and go such as coffee or latte? There is a separate line to be able to order that quickly to get back out the door.
