Thursday night we stayed at the motel and decided to eat at the Firewater Grille to avoid going back out in the frigid cold caused by the Polar Vortex Drop. We were pleasantly surprised by the great food, service and atmosphere. Reddy, our waiter, was very friendly and attentive. The salad was great with a good variety of fresh greens and other veggies. The popcorn chicken was delicious with a tasty batter, fried crispy. Just right! Nice to find that the place you picked for convenience...
After a long day of driving, we checked in to the Comfort Inn in Omaha. We were happy to see that there was a restaurant, Firewater Grill right there in the lobby, so we wouldn't have to drive somewhere. Our waiter was Veddy, with who we enjoyed some nice conversation. We ordered some onion rings for an appetizer, and was served a very large order of crispy rings. My husband ordered the mushroom burger, and he asked if he could add mushrooms to it and Veddy said sure. I...
Reddy and Sam give great hospitality! I have been traveling for work a lot, and have been here 5 different times. Whether I've dined in or taken to my room, the food is always delicious. ? Also, large proportions for the money!
