Every bite was packed full of flavor! Our waitress Sally was a delight and did a fantastic job. You can tell that every dish was made with fresh quality ingredients.

I ate here for brunch this morning. This restaurant is bright and inviting. The hanging plants add a nice vibe to the restaurant. I also like how you can see the cooks making everything in the back. My group shared the butterscotch budino donut as an appetizer. The restaurant sends their budino over to Bob's donuts (across the street) the night before and they fill their butterscotch yeast donuts with the budino. The donuts were incredible tasting. The filling was rich and creamy. Their brunch menu had numerous unique options. I had the beef and pork ragu dish that had polenta, eggs and tigelle. My dish was filled with savory flavors and I ate every single bite. A lot of the dishes had tigelle paired with them which is basically a round, thin Italian bread. You can see them making it fresh in the back in a giant press- super cool! Service was on point. The wait staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. My group was overall satisfied with their meals, the only reason this isn't a 5 star rating is because those in my group who got potatoes as part of their dish thought they lacked flavor - needed more seasoning.

Forno is one of those places that sounds fancy, but when you arrive there is an oddness to the place that you cant shake off. I understand the hipster half dead house plants in odd pots hanging from the ceiling decor, and the mismatched great-grandma China dinner roll plates from the flemarket sitting on the tables, there is a place for all tastes. (But why do I have to keep that one much-too-small plate for the entire dinner, no matter how much dressing or sauce from the courses before is on it? Do you not own a full-sized dinner plate?) Then there is the waitress who barely looks at you when you are ordering drinks (there must have been something shiny in her peripheral) and then leaves you hanging for 20 minutes before she comes back and takes your dinner order. These minutes just gives you more time to digest your surroundings. We ordered the kale salad, and although there was nothing special about it and it was plated very haphazardly, it was fresh and edible. We also ordered the margherita pizza. The char on the thin crust was way too much for my liking as every bite had that bitter burnt toast taste. We also ordered the chicken wings. After one bite, I thought at the time, that this has to be the low point of dinner. The wings were almost mushy and had a very strange ginger-mango sour sauce. Not good. The place was busy and has stellar ratings, and we didn't see why. So, we ordered another pizza to make sure we were not missing something. We tried the pesto chicken pizza and when she brought it to our table, I really lost my appetite. The cooks care nothing about food presentation as everything came out looking like our 4 year old son made it. This pesto chicken pizza was no exception. Dried, dark meat chicken chunks were thrown randomly on a burnt crust with bland pesto sauce. And then a few blistered uneven cut tomatoes and pearl onions were thrown in one corner only. Even though the crust was burnt, everything on top made the crust a soggy mess by the time it made it to our table. Much to my disappointment, the wings were no longer the low point of dinner. There won't be a next time.

Great atmosphere, quick service, good food. Quaint but comfortable seating. Highly recommend for Blackstone area breakfast/brunch. And it's right next to Bobs Donuts

There's a level of char that's acceptable on a thin crust stone fire, but chief this ain't it. The sweet waitress was the only reason I didn't rage. For 17$ you'd expect a little better. My husband luckily is a trash can and he didn't have an issue with it so we didn't send it back. But I think the photos speak for themselves. Who in the H - E - double fluff let this get past the expo table? Four cooks back there and no one said something? (There's also eggplant on there so that blackness isn't char but you can tell the difference between that and burning the devil into it). But the awesome laugh I got with my kitchen manager when I sent him the pictures was almost worth the pizza. Almost.

Had the primitivo wine, cauliflower fondue, and carni pizza. Excellent food, excellent service, and excellent atmosphere. Waiter brought us an Italian shot of mint liqueur post meal as a treat! Will come back.

For the life of me I cannot figure out the 5 star reviews here. I came here with my Real Estate team for dinner. The parking is the attached lot of the back/side of the building FYI. I would categorize this restaurant as more of a tapas and spirits honestly. I think the majority of people who like this place probably come here for the alcoholic beverages but I was really hoping they would be good at both. Our server seemed overly annoyed to take our orders and twice walked off before we were done. They were not even that busy. The food was really not that great at all. The charcuterie tray was really not good. I normally love these everywhere and I'm not sure how they got it so wrong. The pizza was the best thing they had on the menu. I honestly don't remember what everything was that we ordered by name but here's the pics. I was so excited to come here but honestly won't be coming back.

Fantastic weekend brunch. Fluffy eggs, great biscuits, and sausage gravy with the perfect spice. Definitely get their butterscotch donut from Bob's Donuts across the street too. It's a great compliment to the savory biscuits and gravy.
