So this location/franchise is not as good as the original gandolfos in Provo Utah or any of the utah franchise locations. But missing gandolfos and surprised to see it here randomly in omaha, i have eaten here a handful of times since i moved here 3 years ago. One of the things I don't like about the Omaha locations is that they use a soft hoagie roll instead of the original french bread type roll they use at the original gandolfos which is way better. But usually the sandwich is still sort of close to the original in Utah. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was really disappointing. It seems like the quality has really gone down. I got the Philly cream cheese steak which I have been eating for over 30 years in Utah and it was not good at all. The assembly of the sandwich, the ingredients, just everything about it was totally off and not good. It was like worse than a subway sandwich. I would really recommend the owners step it up. I don't know if it's the people who work there now or what but the quality is low enough that I am hesitant to go back. And if any of you are in Utah, there is still a Gandolfo in Salt Lake City that is the original quality and delicious. Oh, also the location here there, potato salad the potatoes are always undercooked.

They are so accommodating in the food is so good. They need to expand a little more about catering. I work down the street and they have catering all the time. They usually JJ right next door. JJ sucks. Love, love, love, the food there. Thanks for accommodating strange orders. The meats and cheeses they use are so good!

I used to stop into this location all the time before I moved because it's super clean and fast service. I love Gandolfo's. From the bread to the meats, all the veggies, everything has always tasted fresh to me. I get the Yonkers with double turkey and it's so big it's two meals for me!

Craving a Reuben in Omaha and this location was next door to my hotel. It was delicious. Well seasoned, crispy rye, soft and tender corned beef. Served with a side of potato salad. Excellent, attentive service in a fast casual setting. Great job all the way around.

The prices were outrageous. $32 for 2 six inch sandwich meals.

I had such high hopes when friends recommended we go here. I was the first to arrive and 3 people at one table and the rest of the restaurant was empty. The tables and benches were filthy and the other tables needed to be wiped down. Drink station was dirty and trash from straw wrappers all over the top. The two people there Friday Dec 29th at 1:00pm were just chatting- not keeping the place clean.Ordered our lunch and 2 got sandwiches and 1 got a chicken salad-salad. I have never eaten chicken salad that was runny with blue cheese. It was gross! If your specialty is a New York style sandwich- stick to that and not designer foods.I won’t be back.

Did a carryout order here and it was great! I had the Carnegie Hall sandwich which was to die for! Staff was very friendly, too.

I FINALLY found my sandwich replacement after leaving the west coast. Holy shit, it took me 3 years but I got a ToGos equivalent #9. You get the I love NY and sub the rye for the hoagie roll. The rye was always too greasy with fake butter but the hoagie roll is perfect! 10/10

Hands down, one of my fave places in Omaha. Any location...always good. This location is close to my office, so I end up here once a week or two. The specials are a good deal. Some of the sandwiches are a magic treat...Is it Good Cold? Well...mix it up, try it hot. Breakfast Sandwiches are available all day. Fresh Eggs. Fresh Sausage. The Bread is super fluffy/soft. Melty cheese. Okay. Here's the deal...The Potato Salad. Not sure why, but it's the damn best. It's made every day. Has fresh dill, lightly chilled, no mustard. Hot sandwich goes with it...I just dig it! Wait? Why am I apologizing to you? Try it! You'll see. Staff is always patient, and good advice on picks. I always feel bad ordering breakfast in the middle of the day, but they put on a smile about it. Other location has drive thru, takes a little bit...BUT IT SUPPOSED TO. it's worth it.

These employees are unfriendly and incompetent. This was my second time here. The first was a disaster but I decided to give them another shot. I asked for no oil and vinegar and still got it. I paid extra to have turkey and roast on it. I went back to have it remade due to the oil and vinegar and then they left out the roast beef I paid extra for. I'm not going back a third time. I am just never going back again. Pickelmans it is from now on. They get it right every time

Gandalfo's New York Deli has been a favorite sandwich stop for half of my family for some time (most of us would identify it as their favorite deli in Omaha). The menu is massage and there is literally a sandwich for everybody, whether you want cold cuts, chicken, non-deli meat sandwiches, vegetarian, etc). If lunch sandwiches don't appeal to you, they have all day breakfast too! And on top of that, they have several fresh deli salads, (which you can put into combos in place of chips for an upcharge). My favorite of the salads is the broccoli and cheddar. I don't always get a salad, but if I do, that's the one. They also have daily specials as well. For me, my go-to order is the Throg's Neck Bridge (but the Rockefeller Reuben and Bronx BBQ are also delicious!!!) and my wife gets the Godzilla (EVERY TIME, no modification). My son goes for breakfast bagels or sandwiches most the time, but there is literally something for everybody here. A bit pricey but well worth it. The staff is usually pretty friendly and inviting too. The dining room is clean and the atmosphere is inviting and I never feel rushed to leave which is nice these days. If 63rd and Center is not convenient, there are two other locations too (Downtown on Farnam St, and west on 120th and Pacific).

Cashier was obviously miserable and needs customer service skills. Probably not the right job for you.

Tried Gandolfo's for the first time and it was delicious! Had the egg, bacon, and american cheese, breakfast sandwich on a kaiser roll. The wait wasn't long but they also weren't very busy. The chocolate mousse cake was good too but I don't think it was something I'd personally order again.
