Everything about this place was outstanding. Our server requested feedback on the new beverages and even refunded the one that wasn't to my liking. The food was amazing, the best pork chop I've ever had. I loved the ambience and that you could check out their growing room underneath.
Amazing! Sam our waiter was the perfect amount of attentive but not overly involved and our food was brought out at the perfect time for each course. Will be recommending to others, and we will be back!
We ordered the crispy brussel sprouts to start. Absolutely delicious. Lemony, peppery, lightly topped with parmesan shreds. Gather burger is one of the best burgers in Omaha, imo. The fries are skinny, skinned and perfectly seasoned. We also had the elk bolognese with pappardelle homemade noodles. Delicious! The service was outstanding. Every time we visit this restaurant, we are never disappointed.
We went during happy hour time. Very busy and a bit noisy location by the front window. Service was excellent and so was the food.
We love Gather! Food was terrific. Cocktails were well made. Chasen was a great host for our group of 4. Had the pork ribeye and elk bolognese- stellar! Hit up Omaha and Maui locations repeatedly.
We went for wine Wednesday and enjoyed a half price bottle of wine for each of us. The hot honey chicken was excellent!! We really enjoyed the atmosphere and service and would come back again next time we're in Omaha.
I had the asparagus gnocchi and it was amazing! My husband had the burger and fries and it was also awesome.
Appetizers (Brussels and Pork Bao Buns) were fantastic. The highlight of the experience. The Elk Bolognese main dish was solid. Their special for the day was a pea stew that was more of a soup. The flavor of this dish was off and also over-salted. Sides of Broccolini were cooked well but was a bit bland. Roasted carrots were overcooked. In general nothing was terribly wrong but the stew. Service was also just ok. Great appetizers but probably wouldn't go out of our way to recommend.
Have heard about the restaurant from various people but first time to try. We had reservations for 5:00 on Sunday prior to our Orpheum show. Michelle was a great waitress. Food was excellent. Had the soba noodles and a burger as well as some wine. Every employee seemed genuinely happy to be at their job and greeted us warmly. Even a unique way to bring the check at the end of the meal in a book (which can be written in).
We thought the food was good. The service wasn't so good. We had to ask for our check. It's a large restaurant, and it could be that they were short handed...seems to be that most restaurants make you wait longer. Possibly, less help available.

Our server was not very attentive at all. Felt like he either didn't care to serve us or forgot about us. I ordered the salmon and husband ordered the flatiron with shrimp. The salmon dish was definitely lacking in flavor. I ended up doctoring it up with my husband's leftover sauce from his plate. (Made it much better) He liked his, however it costs $15 to add 4 medium sized shrimps to his steak. I was very much looking forward to trying Gather but sadly it fell short:(
I tried a few things off their restaurant week menu, the BERRY COMPOTE BURRATA was just okay and the BRAISED SHORT RIB didn't have much flavor. The food wasn't bad, just didn't have as much flavor as expected. The service and atmosphere were okay. Unfortunately nothing memorable and for this out of towner, not sure it is worth a repeat the next time I am in town.
Have been here several times and the service was the worst it has ever been and the food was ‘meh.' I brought a group of whom had never been and was disappointed in the overall experience for everyone...has ALWAYS been much better than this. Bummer...
My wife and I went to gather for date night. As usual I got the elk bolognese, she got the steak special. It was very delicious!
The food here is very good! The cocktails were excellent as well. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, never pushy and honest when asked about certain dishes. The menu is on the pricey side, but totally worth it. The portions were perfect and the quality was great. I will be back for sure!
