Our first trip to Gather couldn’t have gone better. The host, Steve was super accommodating in seating us. I appreciated the table farther away from the majority of the business as it was quieter and more intimate. Our waitress, Cathleen was extremely helpful and super friendly, even giving our oldest daughter individualized attention without being annoying like a lot of servers are when we are trying to enjoy a night out as a family. The brussel sprouts were fantastic. I don’t know if I’ll ever eat them without cranberries again; who would have known. They added such a pop of brightness to the dish. My wife had the pad Thai and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Wagyu flat iron with Chimichurri, and where so many restaurants fail, they succeeded in having a well-balanced sauce that wasn’t overly acidic and provided a welcomed heat to the dish. Loved the elote corn which was kept warm the entire meal having been served in its own skillet. We also ordered the Mac and cheese which was very good, and even the chicken strips we ordered for our daughter was a shelf above any other restaurant. My daughter loved the donut holes and the birthday cake they prepared, although simple, was surprisingly delicious. They even do the simple things well! By far, the best dessert was the Strawberry-Basil sorbet; such a fresh and delightful way to end the meal. One of the things that stuck out to me most was the attention we got from the manager, Tony. Most of the time you see managers walking around, it feels like they are just “doing their job,” but this guy was bringing food out to customers, checking in with tables, assisting in any way he could, and genuinely looked liked he loved being there. He checked on a few questions we had about the food and he also gave special attention to our daughter which definitely elevated her experience. The service, food, atmosphere and getting to see their Hydroponic garden make this a must visit! Will definitely be back.

The place is really really cool. The bar was awesome, there is a bit too much close seating in the front to enjoy a conversation.

The salads were great and so was the esquites (corn dish) was wonderful but the steak was so so for my taste. My leech potatoes soup was cold. I expected more out of a red velvet cheese cake. All I tasted was cheese cake.

I wouldn't go back for the food. I found it lacking in flavor for having spent 200 on that dinner, that night.

Food came out cold. Service was so slow I canceled my drink order because I was done eating and it still hadn't come out. Truffle pasta didn't have any truffle flavor to it. Food was overpriced and not very good.

Since I touched down in Nebraska I kept seeing ads for this place so I decided to make a visit and boy was it good. Started with the red blend wine and the gather mule which was very refreshing. The service was fast and she even took a few pictures for us the check came in a little book so cute. The place has art work all over the place and really catches your eye. Dimly lit sets quite the mood for any type of night. The Mediterranean plate was absolute fire. All of the parings messed so well really enjoyed the basil pesto, only thing I would add is more naan the portion seemed off. We shared the truffle pasta, which had plenty of mushrooms and gave the dish more depth. The green room downstairs was so cool to see where produce comes from. Overall I would love to check out more of the menu when I’m in town.

Love that they gave me a feedback card for a new item on the menu. It was great but I wish more places did that. Love the farm fresh things from their hydroponic garden downstairs too, amazing. Wish they could make a real espresso martini though... don't go expecting that 😅

Service was slow. Not many food options and definitely not worth such a high price for the portions. We had to have a snack afterwards even though everyone shared appetizers and got their own meal and drink.

Nice restaurant with good food and vibe. Service is prompt and efficient. Servers are polite. Restaurant has a beautiful hydroponics garden in the basement. It’s unique, check it out. Food was good and well presented, but not creative for 5/5. Options for vegetarians/vegans lacked imagination (a typical noodle dish). Drinks menu was extensive and cocktails are innovative. Like several restaurants these days, they are getting by with overpriced menu. Not a big deal. I always check the bathrooms of the restaurant as a reflection of their kitchen’s hygiene. It was ok (4/5 probably pass health inspection).

The servers were very nice and clearly knew their job. I wish the restaurant would invest in budgeting for their server’s professional groomed look. I kinda felt bad for them, because the restaurant is clearly upscale and doing well.

What a fantastic and elegant place to spend an evening. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a great time. Our server was very kind and helped us select the dishes we'd like and I really enjoyed my pork entrée. My friends also really enjoyed the plates they ordered. One other note - I absolutely loved seeing the farm downstairs - a truly cool concept in Omaha!

Loved the restaurant! I had Imperial Tartare entree and was awesome! The flavor profile was energetic to my mouth & waygu melt in your mouth. The best part was that they had a small portion open, which was perfect for my small appetite. Very fulfilling. I'll be visiting again. Very good mocktail as well.

I’ve been here about a half dozen times, but surprisingly I find that it keeps getting better. Despite being open for a while now they seem to keep pushing to improve.

Service is always top-notch. Ingredients are creative, and fresh. You have to try a salad with their ingredients coming from the grow room on the lower level, which is always worth a visit.

The Cobia Was an interesting dish, but in my opinion had too many ingredients. Probably would not get that again.

The elk bolognese was excellent! Red wine base was flavorful and rich and the house made noodles were spot on.

The fried chicken is what really blew me away. Sitting on the bed of mac & cheese with the side of hot sauce this was a naughty way to spend my evening! But I don’t regret it. Some of the better fried chicken I have had in town.

If you have not tried Gather, then I strongly suggest planning a dinner date.

All the food we ordered was pretty good. They have a cool hydroponics micro veggies growing in the basement that you can have a look.
Only observation that I can say I did not like is that the actual 'gathered' micro veggies were very very less in the actual dishes.

The service was excellent and the food was creative and tasted great! They grow many of the vegetables they use in their dishes on site in a hydroponic farm that you can view downstairs!
