We had dinner at Gather and overall the food was great, definitely creative and different in a good way. The burger was a standout! There was some confusion about whether a kids menu exists, hostess said yes, but our server Michelle acted like she was unaware. Unfortunately, Michelle’s attitude threw off the vibe for our table. She was off-putting and didn’t communicate well. Nice spot, great food, but the service didn’t match the experience.
This was our 2nd time dining at Gather. The first time we did their New Years tasting menu and it was incredible and worth every penny. We decided to dine there again last night for our anniversary to try it out with their regular menu. Again, everything was incredible. The pork bun appetizers were the best pork buns we've had in the city. Their special drink that night, mint cucumber cocktail, was perfection.
