Four of us went on 1/30 at 6 pm. Unknown to us they were having a fundraiser for a local highschool team which was fine but it was busy . It took a while to order but only because it was super busy because of family and friends supporting the team . Overall our waitress did good because she was trying hard . The food was HORRIBLE . Two of us ordered cheese enchiladas and we received a flattened over microwaved thing . It looked like burnt cheese and nothing else because it was so thin. They were awful looking and should have never been served . The enchiladas were tasteless , the refried beans tasted funny and the rice was bland . I can honestly say worst Mexican food we ever had . Since it was a fundraiser for a good cause we didn’t want to complain . So I left this review instead . They need a new cook . I can’t believe it’s still open serving food like this .

Used to be the place to go for old school Mexican families. It's mission was to support Mexican and Latino families. That changed when their was an internal fight. The charter then dissolved. Many elders have passed, and many who go now have no idea of the historical significance of the original organization. The food is meh, very Americanized, but they do have Mexican cooks in the back that do make the authentic pozole really well.
All is well that ends sooner or later. Hat off to the Mexican, Mexican elders and Chicanos who were my mentors.
