What a great old school steak house. Just loved this place. The service was grand, the food amazing and the atmosphere, perfect. This is a must do!

The USDS Prime NY strip was probably the best steak I have ever had. The Yukon mashed potatoes weren't like any mashed potatoes I have had. They were so good.

Went to hear Bozak & Friends. The band was great! The calamari was very chewy, the beef skewers were chewy and didn’t taste good. The onion rings were really good and a large serving. Service was pretty good. The couch we sat on-in the lounge as very uncomfortable- it had holes and bumps and needs to be replaced

No shade for a majority of the stadium. When temps reach 100 degrees 4 watering stations don't cut it. The seating was fine but the lack of shade or any space of refuge ruined the experience.

The price was too much for chicken fried steak. No bread, salad or a veggie came with the meal. Just mashed potato and the chicken fried steak. 26.00 was too much for the dinner. The steak was tough and the gravy was not that good.

We are in town for the College World Series. Gary at the Omaha visitors center suggested Gorat's to use as a place to enjoy a steak. He was not lying. I was pleased that Gorat's has a laid back dress policy as all we had with us was shorts. They treated us like we were wearing our finest. Our server was excellent with the pace of our meal. The steaks that we had were perfectly prepared. Even my friend who ordered his steak med well came out juicy and perfectly seared and prepared. Now I come from an area of the country where a very well known steakhouse got its start so I know a properly prepared steak when I eat one. I judge it on three criteria first the sear, second is it prepared as ordered, third taste do I need to add salt or pepper or a sauce to the steak. I happy to report that my steak was seared perfectly to my liking. That is a big thing for me because if a place can't get the sear right can they meet my other criteria. Next came the first cut dead center in the heart of the steak. It was cooked as ordered to a beautiful rare. Next came that first bite where the sear, the temp, and the taste come together. It was spot on no extra seasoning or sauce needed on this beautiful steak I was looking at. The highest compliment I can a give a place is would I return. I am happy to say I will return to Gorat's on my next trip to Omaha. The price that I paid was very reasonable for a steakhouse of this quality. Thank you for a great time and an even better meal. You will see me again.

I do not know why they have a 4.3 overall needs to be 5 stars all the way the food was absouletley delicious every single morsel the steak was on point 200%the best i ever had this will be wifey and i new go to olny thing is i wish we came here sooner by the way the chef is awesome chef josh came out and introduced himself which was awesome thanks again

Took my husband out for Father’s Day brunch. He ordered the Corned Beef hash. He said it was the best he ever had. The waitress was amazing she was knowledgeable about the food. If you are looking for a good place for brunch try Gorat’s.
