my family was craving for some sweets so I googled cake and their store was the 2nd on the list so I tried it for the first time, and it didn’t disappoint me. It’s a cozy little place where you can expect great pastry. Everyone who works there is passionate and enthusiastic about what they do and just gives you the “good vibe”. I even scored a free chocolate mousse today because Ed said “ sorry, you just have to try it. Here is a free one!” ?? Every single item is made with precision, balance and just the right amount. I cannot believe i only discovered this place just 3 months ago in my 16 years in Omaha! What i like is that they always have amazing cakes available anytime they’re open! Love this place ??

Grand Patisserie in Omaha is an absolute gem! Their macarons are simply amazing. The strawberry mousse cake with fluffy layers with the strong taste of fresh strawberries. And let's not forget about their Arabic bread. Every visit to Grand Patisserie is like a journey for the senses. It's no wonder you find yourself stopping by every time you're in the area – it's a destination that truly makes your soul happy.
I stopped in for an assortment for my daughter's birthday and let me tell you I am so glad I did! The lady who helped me was very kind and knowledgeable, I got to try a few samples and brought home a box full of goodies. The pavlova is so delicious and delicate, macarons were spot on (we had orange and pistachio), the fruit and lemon meringue tarts were tart and balanced and delightful, the chouquettes are my new favorite. The custard inside of them with the delicate pastry exterior is dreamy.

The best tasting pastries I have ever had. They are truely a big fish in a small town to me. You can tell these items are made with love. The baker told us how he makes them and the special ingredients and how some things are gluten free and how to take care of them once you get them home. Each item we purchased was simply the best I have ever had. I will be going back for more and definitely highly recommend the Grand Patisserie to everyone. I could rave on and on about this place. I can’t get enough of this bakery! The breads and sweets that come out of that kitchen can only be a result of love, expertise, and passion for the craft. My favorite pastry is the almond pear tart, it has a tender crumb with a shortbread crust, delicate slice of pear on top, and finished with with what I assume is a light glaze of apricot jam. Truly a work of art. It takes great restraint not to inhale one in just a few seconds. And let’s talk the focaccia. Wow. So tender and moist and flavorful - I could eat that every single day and be a very happy person. The macarons are light, chewy perfection. The service is kind and consistent.We have NEEDED a spot like this. Go there. Treasure it. Never turn back.
