I really wanted to like this, I have Cajun roots. But the crawfish etoufee was just not good. I’ve had it in New Orleans and in my own home and this is just sorry. Why is it sour? It should be buttery and flavorful from the roux. The crawfish was tough probably because it was frozen. The crab and artichoke dip was decent but less artichoke and more crab is needed. At the end of the day it was my fault for expecting fresh seafood and Cajun flavor in Omaha. The service is outstanding...
We are from Oklahoma and this place is something we gotta visit every time we come here in Omaha. The ambience is very peaceful and cozy. Our server was really pleasant. Food was VERY delicious!! My husband got the shrimp & grits and I got the meatballs. They’re more than we expected!! Really really good. I wish I could give 10 star!
Ordered take out blackened chicken jambalaya and shrimp and grits. Sides of cornbread and coleslaw. Service and ordering was great. Chicken jambalaya was ultra spicy and hot. I didn't order extra hot. The shrimp and grits was a bit on the spicy side as well. Id expect Cajun cuisine to be spicy but this was pushing it. Collard greens were awesome 👌
