The food was great. But the service awful. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were good until we got a table. The waiter didn't bring us our menus for an hour. And we had to flag them down anytime we had to order. We finally had to raise our voices all together to ask for the check. They were rude and kept on taking our plates away when we were still eating on them. Please let us enjoy our food isn't that the whole point of a restaurant.
We have been wanting to try Herbe Sainte for a long time and we finally made a date night to check it out.
The staff was extremely attentive, the cocktails were really unique and flavorful and we really enjoyed the ambiance!
I would not bring kids here - it's definitely more of a quiet, intimate kind of venue. The food was pretty tasty and came out quickly and the portions were very generous.

Had clam chowder, definitely was not clam chowder. It had alot of ham and bacon in it and was peppery. I'd call it a ham soup not clam chowder. Tasted nothing like it and was too salty, needed some bread with it. They have prosecco on tap which is odd and it was flat which is to be expected. Overall a really odd place that's overly priced. I'm from the south and we know you don't put bacon in gumbo or clam chowder that's just a cheap way to add in meat...
