I can't even understand why they're open right now. This is just a sportsbook in a temporary building with a port a potty outside. We drove by 3x trying to find the entrance in the dark, Google directions aren't accurate, no lit up sign and then you drive a few blocks on a gravel maze to get back to the building. Maybe 10 vehicles in the parking lot and security checked my ID and put in a machine to get in the door (I'm way past 21 so it seemed really odd). We looked around 30 seconds before I knew it felt very uncomfortable and I wanted to leave. Won't be back until they open the full casino and if what they're doing now is any indication of what that will be like I don't see this being competition for the casinos across the river.

I do like the fact you can bet in nebraska. It does save on gas $$ but if you don't get there as soon as they open. The line is so long.

I realize there's a lot going on there, but , the setup for Derby day was lacking big time. I grew up on the backside at AkSarBen I'm 66 now. I love to bet the triple crown and horsemen's is my go to place.For the first time it was not enjoyable at all. Not planned well, parking was un organized mess with cars parked far apart making even les parking .I hope next year there will still be the racetrack feel the old place had and not just a corner in a rip off casino . That would make me really sad.Long live thoroughbred horseracing!!? The Sport of Kings

Very nice place to gamble on horses. Good price on beer, food, and friendly staff. Lots of tv's for simulcast. The excitement when they host live racing is bar none.

Fun place to go in bet horses at. Food is pretty reasonably priced. If you come in there on a Sunday you are in for a treat. That day the twins fix up their own special dishes that are very tasty.

Let me say this - before you give this place any less than 5-stars, please visit other simulcasting locations around the country first. I have, and none - not a single one - can hold a candle to the staff and facilities at Horsemen’s Park.We had to move to the St. Louis area and the options here are AWFUL. Be thankful for what you have.
