Without doubt the finest coffee emporium on the continent of the 50 states of this fine nation.
Worth flying in from NC for…and walking 25 mins from my hotel in -12F, for the 2 mornings I’m visiting my favorite city!
Greg is a National Coffee Treasure.

Super nice person
Best cappuccino I’ve had in Omaha. Worth the trip. Outstanding coffee. Remains one of the best coffee shops in the Midwest period.

I’ve never left a bad review before, but after leaving this coffee shop shaken from an unexpected rant from him about how civilization is degenerating I just want to warn you, dear reader, it’s safest not to disagree with the proprietor about anything—he will go off!
He repeatedly announced to me that the population of the planet was in decline and that fewer people can read than ever before, when both are obviously untrue and graphs of both histories can be easily found with a quick Google, which (Google) he was also against and ranted about. Weird and unnerving gaslighting experience this morning. He told me I was fighting with him and calling him crazy when I gently disagreed with him when he said the world was about to “blow up.”

A little pricey for a 10 oz cup of latte ($7 before tip) but it was one of the best lattes I have had in a good long while. Definitely one of my new favorites in Omaha. I also love the aesthetic of the place; no-frills and minimalist yet classy. ☕ I'll be back!

Just went to the closest coffee shop while doing business nearby. The man who runs it is incredibly friendly and authentic. Each person that came in after us was greeted and he seemed like he knew everyone and genuinely cared about their life updates.
Seems like a classy bar vibe coffee shop. Pretty chill. It had a small town charm in the middle of the city.
Would recommend the vanilla latte. One of the best ones I've ever had. The balance of sweet and coffee taste was perfect. He mastered getting the perfect temperature for drink ability which I feel like most make their coffee too hot to drink right away.
I don't live in Omaha but I will remember Howlin' Hounds Coffee when I'm there again.
Parking: Street parking. Went on a Tuesday in the middle of the morning so not sure if it is busier on the weekends.

Stopped by this shop this morning for the first time, planning on grabbing a quick cup to go but was instantly greeted warmly by the owner and pulled into the inviting atmosphere. Espresso was excellent and you can tell he goes out of his way to put extra care and detail into every drink to make it a special treat, no matter how simple. Made my day and will be stopping by more often!

Great coffee. Every single cup you can tell was made with care and detail. Great atmosphere and fantastic service. If I lived closer this would be my coffee place. One of those places where you can tell there's regulars and everyone is friendly.
