Hyderabad House Biryani Place

Ordered a full tray of Paneer Biryani for the evening and it was all spoiled the very next morning. Horrible smell and the rice was all gooey. Had to through the whole tray in the bin. The sider Manchuria was squishy and bland. They used to make fresh food but clearly they don’t value their customer’s health. Was planning to take few pictures and post it, but then gave up on the idea and the restaurant.

Food was awesome. Great flavors. We loved the chicken mongadu vepudu (extra spicy), vegetable navaratan korma, and the saag paneer. Can’t wait to come back.

The variety of curries offers a great selection. Also, the varieties of their non-breads is more vast than other Indian restaurants. Their dishes are cooked well with no excess oil added, and their prices are reasonable is good when I went there. They were very busy so it was slightly noisy, I would recommend this most of the Omaha Indian restaurants

June 2024 review, Again I’m bumping rating down to 1 star. I ordered the chicken bhuna which previously had a dark maroon / brown appearance. This time I received the bhuna it was as light as tomato sauce. There were no chilis in the gravy. It tasted like a spicy tiki masala. I won’t order here again. I’m done.

I’m editing my review and moving down to three stars from four until Hyderabad can be more consistent. I ordered the Safed Maas the other night and it was red in color and had no yogurt or nut flavors. I have noticed lately that all curries/entrees seem to taste the same. The korma, bhuna, masalas, all taste similar. I eat here a lot but I’m going to stop. My partner brought the inconsistency up with the server and he shrugged his shoulders citing different styles of cooking. For me it’s not worth trying to figure out if the chef can figure out to cook the correct entree. It is a shame as the flavors are some of the best in Omaha.

Love Hyderabad. Food is almost always on point. Unless you want a specific spicy level. They are inconsistent with that. I’ve had better Naan bread. But main entrees are above average compared to others.
