hyperbole aside, this really is the best bar in Omaha. The cocktail list is straight to the point without anything frivolous, but all quality. My girlfriend never drinks rum but ordered three rum based cocktails because the balance was "dope" in her words. The bartenders are informed, nice and willing to take time answering questions. Additionally, it's a comfortable space. Go there, it's where I'll be.
Small space and kinda loud. For being somewhat of a theme bar, they missed the boat on some easy ways to keep the library/literary them going by not naming drinks after anything. Could have named them after authors or books or book characters. Took 15 minutes for someone to come to our table to even offer water.
Tiny and intimate bar. We were looking for a place to enjoy a drink and be able to hear each other talk. Excellent alcohol selection. Loved the little things like the wall of author photographs and that our bill came enclosed in a book. I enjoyed myself and plan on returning.
