Great seafood place in south Omaha with a nice variety from fish and birria tacos to shrimp cocktail and sushi. Drinks come in very large cups and the food was piping hot and fresh. We had the ribeye steak with lobster and a wet birria burrito, kids had the Ramen bowl which could have fed at least 4 children! Chips and salsa were brought to us when we sat down and it was delicious. Server seems like he got swamped though and it took a while to get his attention so we could pay the bill but the place was packed so it wasn't that big of a deal. Definitely recommend and will be returning.Parking: Plenty of spots in the large parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Kid menu which includes chicken fingers and pizza.

It's always an enjoyable experience with live music and some great food. The Ceviche and some of the sushi are some of my favorites, but they have so many options to choose from. Service is great, but it can obviously be a bit hard to get the attention of your waiter if they're experiencing a full house. I will say, however, everything can be a bit pricey, expect to pay at least $20-$25 per person, small add-ons are pricey as well such as a serving of guac or even extra tostadas. Great food and place either way. It's expected to pay quite a bit at a place like this.

They call it Mojarra.... I call it delight?! Do you want to eat delicious food, family atmosphere, friendliness of the staff? You have to visit Isla del Mar restaurant, you will be delighted and eager to return?
Bad service they don’t speak English not good caring I came with family and was my husband and daughter food getting but mine was late 30 mints I will never back I don’t recommend to anyone want to sit and eat comfortably then was so expensive and not good behave from the waiter

The vibe of Isla del Mar is fantastic. It feels like a south of the border fiesta every time. The menu provides lots of choices, and the service is attentive. We had drinks with dinner in the past, which added to the fun, but today was lunch, so no drinks. All in all a good visit, and at first, the mariachi band added to the vibe in a good way. It got to be a little much as they seemed to be REALLY loud and right on top of our table for our whole visit, making it hard to converse and hard to enjoy the music too.
