I've been told to go to J Gilberts for years now. Very happy I finally had the chance. I loved the prix fixe menu options. The wedge salad was amazing along with my prime strip. Cooked to perfection and crazy flavorful. Finished with a delicious creme brulee. I flipped a coin for my starter cocktail and would definitely try the smoked old fashioned next time.
Excellent place for a nice night out! Met up with some family here for dinner and the service was better than expected. Food presentation, taste, and options were on par with any high end restaurant, and the price made the meal even better! Can’t wait to come back for another amazing meal!

J. Gilbert 's ribeye is by far the best steak I've had in my life. I don't know how many tens of thousands of dollars we've spent on these ribeyes - we always joke about asking the owner what grill they use and just get these grills to save us some money. We also try steakhouses in different states whenever we travel to see any place tops J. Gilbert, only to find none.While the restaurant needs a bit of an update, their ribeye is supreme. Also, we've tried all of the sides and decided their asparagus is up to par. I've heard their "secret" ingredient is balsamic vinegar. Highly recommend for anyone craving good steak.

Unless you have money this is not a place for you to eat it is very pricey and I ordered the crab cakes meal and it should be called crap bites Not crab cake those are the smallest crab cakes I've ever seen in my life for $39 the oysters with the spinach that was baked oh my god I've never had oysters in my life until tonight and I like them our waitress was beautiful physically and spiritually she was extremely nice and polite and I understand that that's what waitresses are supposed to do but this woman was really really nice I was impressed it was my daughter-in-law's 24th birthday and the pineapple margaritas or martinis sorry I had a little bit too many of them but they was good just I wasn't expected to pay what I paid for the amount of food that I received
