Catfish Sandwich, Okra, and Sweet Tea. 11/10 😊

I had heard of this place from friends and decided to try it on Friday. I had the catfish dinner with Mac and greens and let me tell you…. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Brenda gave us amazing service and recommended we try the dinner for a better pricing rather than the lunch. Soul food in north Omaha was on point. Food was great, service was spectacular, nothing like I’ve had before, music was spot on for the night time life. Highly recommend coming here.

Wife and I with another couple. Waitress took or drink orders with the food order at the same time. We waited a little while for her to come to the table (they weren't busy). We got our drinks and fried okra. Our friends got their food and then the guy next to us that ordered after we did. They were all finished eating and the waitress never came back, to check on us or to bring my wife and I our food. We got up to pay and told them that we never got our food and they didn't seem to worried about it. The guy next to us was more upset than they were about us never getting our food. Had to go someplace else to eat. That would be my suggestion, eat someplace else.

The food here is sooooooo dmn good!! I'm from Chicago, and this place reminds me of the food spots back home, which I haven't had since being in Omaha. But this place is it!!! I had the catfish dinner, and I could not describe good enough how delicious my fish, greens, and mac n cheese were! Seasoned beautifully, cooked to perfection. I can't wait to eat from there again!

Jackson's Fair Deal was amazing! After moving from the south to Omaha, We have been looking for true soul food with actual seasoning on it for a long time in Omaha. The food here is a 10/10. The catfish dinner and the greens were to die for 💚 The service was second to none. We will definitely be coming back!
