If you haven’t tried Javi’s yet, you are missing out! The flavor will kick you in the mouth, in a good way! I recently learned that they do not use any artificial food dyes in their food either! They try to use as many natural ingredients as possible! They need to promote that more! Also, I don’t know Javi personally, but he is one of the first and sometimes only business giving back to the community when disaster strikes. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I will always support local when I can. Honestly, all of Javi’s restaurants have amazing food. Give them a try!
The only thing good about this place is the actual food. The price is ridiculously high! The wait to get the food is excessive (30+ min).
Don't forget to finish with a Bavarian cream stuffed churro!!
Javi's is the best! Good food and good people.

This place is clean, well kept, and the food is amazing! Best tacos in town. Plus right now they have a lovely Christmas tree and music. Oh and get the margs. Come here!

My sister invited me out to dinner for $2 Taco Tuesday at Javi's and it became an instant favorite of mine. I'm a huge fan of Mexican food and Javi's does it right. Everything I've tried is packed with flavor and you won't get skimped on portions.
There are four house-made salsas offered which vary in spice level from mild to white hot. Each of them are delicious, unique, and strangely addictive. Careful if you're not accustomed to high spice levels or the creamy habanero will blow your socks off! Proceed with caution.
My personal recommendations are the cilantro rice, birria (get it on anything), and the charro beans, which has little chunks of meat (pork or other mild sausage?) in it. I'm constantly experimenting with the menu and have never been disappointed. The gordita wasn't what I was expecting, but I was pleasantly surprised by what I can only describe as a Mexican hot pocket with a fried tamal exterior.
It's a touch on the pricy side, but worth every penny, in my opinion. Give it a try!
Vegetarian options: You might get looked at funny if you ask for vegetarian options here. It can be done, but I'd probably avoid it if you're strictly vegetarian since some of the items have meat snuck into them, like the charro beans.
Dietary restrictions: Not recommended if on a low-carb diet or other restrictive diet. Celiacs beware.
Kid-friendliness: They do serve alcohol, but apart from that, very kid friendly. The decor inside is super fun.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, all one level, wheelchair accessible.

We used Javi's for about a 90 person catering and they were AMAZING to work with, on time, delicious food and great presentation/set-up of the food. We got their burrito bowl bar and it was top notch. Their queso is super unique but a huge hit.

I found this place on tik tok as I was visiting from out of state. Daughter and I went here cause we were craving tacos.
I will start with the rice. The rice needed a little more seasoning and a lot less crunch. Yes the rice was cold and crunchy. So you know it had been sitting for a while.
We got the birria tacos with the consume. The tacos had good flavor and were nice and crisp and hot. Now for the consume, that is a different story. For me it needed a little more flavor. The biggest draw back is that it was cold as well. Can't have a good quesabirria taco with cold consume.
One thing I wish they did is sell the birria tacos individually. My daughter is not a rice fan and especially this rice and she just wanted 2 tacos. The kid at the register said it only comes in a platter.
Good thing I am only here for a week but this place is definitely a no for me. My daughter is stationed out here and she will definitely be telling her fellow colleagues not to waste their money at Javi's tacos.

Honestly didn't even try the food couldn't get past the smell and the sticky floors. Looking behind the counter the food area didn't look very cleanly either. Maybe this is just a bad location not sure because I heard great things about Javi's but very disappointed in what I saw and decided to leave. Also how is it nacho day today and you do a special.....a half order of nachos for half the price isn't a special.......
I bought some birria tacos and they were very bad and they didn't even taste like birria 😅 I don't even recommend eating here.

I had the opportunity to eat at Javi’s Tacos through their food truck. Family enjoyed their food, spanning burritos and tacos, and so did I–the street taco trio with chicken.
For sauce, I went with spicy. For well acquainted spice lovers with high tolerance, this is a nice warmth. You may want to pile it on, I personally did, and it was great.
For more casual spice enjoyers, this’ll be pretty spicy. You may want to just use a little, or go for mild.
The one downside was the chicken had numerous hard fat pieces.

Excellence food and service. Birria tacos were fantastic. We had the options of mild or hot. I chose mild, which was flavorful! My husband ordered hot. He said ut was one of the best around.
