First time being here & honestly not the best experience. Me and my bf came in, no wait & we were starving. We ordered steak fries, a chicken flat bread, & some type of loaded fries ( can’t remember the name for sure) keep in mind.. there’s absolutely no wait and not to many tables… we get a beer & it takes 10 mins for our water. Then we place our order and it takes an hour for our food to come out.. which irritated us because it wasn’t busy at all… and they brought the appetizer out with our main courses. I thought it was supposed to be before.. and the fries didn’t have barely anything on them, and the steak was like 4 small small pieces. The only thing good was it the flatbread & that’s why I’m giving it a 2! Won’t be back for awhile.

I’ve been here a few times and gotten the steak frites. It’s really good, and I recommend asking for a little extra sauce! Servers and bartenders seem friendly. It seems like it’s a place that might be a little less busy than other spots in Old Market so if you can’t seem to find a place without a long wait, try this one. It’s also very close to the parking garage, which can be helpful!

Very weird experience. When you walk in, you have to walk through a host area and an empty dining area before you see anyone (and still not greeted). We chose to sit at the bar and awaited service. To our surprise, our bartender was the same guy that was drunk at the brewery across the street. He was obviously inebriated as were many of the employees. One worked did seem to take notice of the others and was irritated at their state of mind.. my first drink had some serious floaters going on. I was served a new tap beer and all was fine. The (previously mentioned) drunk bartender offered us a shot as we said we were leaving. He clarified “well it’s not really on my but on ___ (the owner)”. It was all pretty cringe and concerning. Based on the name, we went in. We were surprised to see 12 taps and them focused on lackluster options such as coors light. I asked for a beer menu and they didn’t have one. Tough to have a beer focused business if you can’t sell beer.Only giving 2* because I know the owners involved and hope they’ll turn it around.

It’s ok. Not great. Service was ok. Staff seemed to really be trying but just couldn’t keep up. The food wasn’t that good. Wouldn’t recommend the super nachos. Flat breads were decent.

We had the Pretzel Sticks & Bier Cheese last night...we had to come back today for more! The weather has been great for the outdoor dining. Great and friendly service. This place is top notch!!

I've came here numerous times for dinner and drinks and always love the food. My favorite dish is the bruschetta. The past waiters have told me they were redoing the menu and to come try the brunch so today I finally made it. I was pleasantly surprised to walk in to all day happy hour on a Sunday and many tempting brunch options, which is served until 1 PM. The bagel was an array of flavors based on the traditional everything bagel with lox. I also had a pineapple Mimosa and a cranberry Mimosa for $3 a piece (hello happy hour!). The wait staff worked as an excellent team and were welcoming. I really love the vibe here, especially with the outdoor patio, and will definitely be back.

Service was great. Food was delicious. The atmosphere was awesome. And the restrooms are clean. We ate, had a drink, and watched the game. The whole staff was welcoming, and friendly. They all walked around and talked to like they knew you. We'll definitely be returning.

Really amazing! My wife and I happened upon this place while downtown for a date night. Has very nice outdoor seating and the food was exceptional! We were especially impressed with how reasonable the prices are considering how overpriced everything seems to be now days.

Food is great and the staff is incredible. Love the new menu! Busy during the farmers market, but that's understandable with them right across the street. Definitely worth a stop when you're downtown.

I'm always looking to try local places with delicious looking food and a solid beer selection. The Collins/Brewery Town seemed to check off the boxes so figured to give it a shot. Underwhelmed will be the most accurate word to describe it. For boasting of local brews they had very few local beers and none of which are on the menu and have to ask specifically what they have and unfortunately the waitress only knew 2 beers. My girlfriend also had one of their specialty mules and was very underwhelmed also. When it came to the food I order the club and it only came out with turkey, ham and cheese so it was missing the mustard aioli, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and onion. I waited about 5 minutes for our server to check in on us but she never came so had to flag down another server who brought the rest of the ingredients minus the bacon to the table on a plate for me to make up the rest of my sandwich. My girlfriend had the French dip and they even forgot the cheese, one of two ingredients in the sand which. Our server never came to check on until we were done eating. For toting to be an "upscale sports bar" the higher price for poor quality and incompetent food and average at best service was quite disappointing and left feeling pretty underwhelmed and bummed out for a place we were hoping to be our new downtown date night spot.

The service was good and boy they were friendly, I think they need to find their stride. The French dip was subpar at best. Just needs to get re organized it has opportunity. Their hours on Google said closed sat but they aren't and that speaks to some management issues. Hope they make it.

I revisited The Collins recently on a Winter early evening to have a bite to eat and drinks with a friend. It is very cozy inside, NFL was on, bartenders were great. I'll be back, anytime of year. A earlier visit was on the garden patio... Loved it.

Walking into the Collins is an experience of itself. On the corner of 11th and Jackson, the place itself has one of the best views of the old market. The drinks are great and the food is amazing! You cannot go wrong by choosing the Collins for Brunch, Lunch or Dinner.

I had the meatball sub and it was so flavorful! The meatballs are huge and seasoned perfectly it pairs well with the marinara sauce. The only thing is I wish it had stated on the menu it came with fries because we ordered the truffle fries (yum!) for our appetizer so it was a bit much.
