Unreal. I was coming in to check this place out. Not only did I get turned away by an inexperienced bar tender that doesn't know how to read a CAC card, she started asking me to say my domicile address on my state ID out loud. I always use my CAC for ID purposes because I have to dig for my state ID in my wallet. Not even 10 seconds in, I was already being called out in front of the bar with everyone listening, and also felt like I was being racially profiled. I thought this was an Asian bar. But the service wasn't Asian at all. Horrible service. Disappointing. Do not recommend.

My friend and I went here last month and it was an awesome experience. I've been wanting to come here for years so this was a treat!It was about 7pm and we walk down to the basement and we are the only ones there. (We are old now, what can I say.) The bar tender was super cool and nice and made a bunch of great suggestions, and I ended up getting a couple of them.The Saki was really good and the autumn old fashioned was freaking top notch. And we got a buck discount off of each because it was happy hour. BONUS!Everything was great and I can't wait to go back there.

This place (the bar not the restaurant) is about twice as much as it was at the beginning of summer the drink menu only has like 3 things on it is now written on a whiteboard and the bartender was new to the bar and bartendingAlso the lighting has changed to be less atmospheric and they stopped playing muted vhs tapes of vintage anime on the little crt TV across from the bar and they no longer have candlesNothing against the bartender he's a pretty alright guy and he seems to know what he's doing he's alright and I'm sure he'll be great soon but like everything about the experience is objectively worse now him included

Under a fantastic ramen place but the best itself doesn't have food.A little small and can get a bit loud but I think that's more than outweighed by interesting decor and space as well as the drinks and bar staff.Generally Asian inspired, which means there's a lot of interesting and unique options for drinks including sake. The bartenders are very friendly and knowledgeable. They are willing to sit and chat about what you like and then craft you a unique cocktail for your palate. Great place to go with a couple friends but the space would make 5+ difficult.

My wife and I stopped in for a few cocktails on a Saturday around 8pm and really enjoyed our time. We both enjoyed the "At Your Whim" and the "Farfetch'd" The bar tenders were friendly, knowledgeable, and talented. The bar itself is cozy, looking as though it could fit about 20-30 people. The low ceiling and great artwork add to the exclusive club feel. Can't wait to go back.

This is a super cool speakeasy with cool vibes and amazing drinks. We stumbled upon it while eating at Ika Ramen upstairs. The service was great, very friendly. The menu is easy to follow, with cocktails on one side and sake on the other. The bartender recommend some really good sake, crisp and dry. We got one of the sweeter cocktails but it was very tasty and just the right amount of sweetness. This place is awesome and would definitely recommend!
