They seemed to be understaffed and the service was slow. Appetizers came out at the same time as the food. We had to request plates, chopsticks, silverware etc. Our server was really sweet and seemed to be doing her best. The food was good. Certainly nothing deal breaking. Kona is a good go-to when looking for a night out.
We stopped in for dinner tonight and Carter was our server. She was attentive and respectful. We the macadamia crusted chicken and a poke bowl with a side of the crispy soy brussel sprouts. The food came out pretty quick. It was all extremely tasty. Will definitely come back next time we are on this side of town.
Excellent date night! Carter, our server in the lounge is excellent! Great suggestions and very attentive. Everything was delicious from the old fashioned to pot stickers to the macadamia nut chicken.
