I never write negative reviews BUT the last couple times we’ve picked up from here it has been bad. Last time I will ever order from here: Drove 30 minutes to pick up a pizza. When I got back home, we discovered it was raw in the center. Called and spoke to Victor who told me he wanted to take a look at it. Said he would maybe make me a new one after he saw it. So would have been another 30 there and 30 back for a maybe. I passed on that.

The reserved sign on the table was nice to see. They were ready for us and they selected a good table for us. My husband thought the cheesebread lacked flavor. They forgot the side of cheese for our pizza, but did bring it once we said something. I thought the salad was good and the pizza was great! I would like to return.

I have been going to LA Casa for 25 years and today our server was very unfriendly and acted like it was a problem to serve us. I told Danielle who is an owner and was met with "St. Patrick's day is hard for us and this server has never had a single complaint" there were 3-5 tables total in the entire restaurant. Was not ready for the unfriendly service. We will not be back.

La Casa is only a few miles from our neighborhood but this was the first time we had been here. It won't be the last. The tables are nicely spaced out so you don't feel like your're on top of each other. The ceiling looks like tin stamped-old-timey tiles and helps keep the noise down, although it was kind of noisy when we were there. I ordered a glass of wine, which turned out to be sweeter than I liked--Valkenburg Dorfender. Lesson learned. Bookguy ordered Penne shrimp Calabrian with extra shrimp. The presentation was impressive as the waiter plated it at the table from a casserole dish. Bookguy thought it was delicious and not lacking in shrimp. I ordered a small plate of mostaccioli with marinara. I liked how they offer smaller portions. Our entrees came with a standard dinner salad and rolls. We both enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere. I also liked how the waiter, Trent, whisked my leftovers away to box up to take home. Somehow this is more refined than just giving us a box to load at the table. All in all we had a great dinner.

We ordered lasagna, to our surprise it was small lasagna style noodle with hardly and Ricotta cheese. The meat lasagna was mostly noodles also. We got 1 single serving and one double serving for 50.00 of basically noodles. Our salads were iceberg lettuce with a couple olives and a peppercinniSo we spent 70.00 for noodles. My daughter was excited to take us there but we were all pretty disappointed.
I was born n raised in Omaha. I just moved back to Arkansas from Las Vegas and I HAVE to have the best pizza ever made. I ordered it in Vegas when I lived there and now ordering it from Arkansas. And now I’m back around my family that are all born and raised in Nebraska and I have to hide these pizza so I don’t have to share lol. Though I do share with my mom. But there’s nothing like the smell and taste of this particular pizza anywhere in the world. I’m grateful that after 43years I can still purchase a family favorite..la casa pizza ❤️
