I have nothing but amazing things to say about La Poblanita. Their Quesabirria tacos (or called here, Fuego Tacos) are what I have been coming for over 2 years for, as that is my all time favorite dish and they do it the best here. I’ve also had the loaded carne asada fries, bean dip and Chilaquiles, and all were amazing. In my opinion, the best authentic Mexican restaurant in OMA. Great service as well. Be prepared and kind about a little bit of a wait for your food (that’s how you know it’s going to be amazing). It is a small place, but I know the owner(s) are hoping to expand. Show this place some love, they deserve it! 10/10

You can tell everything they make is fresh. Their tortillas melt in your mouth, and the rice and beans are always tasting great. I live for their salsas!! Their mole is rich, chocolatey, and fantastic. In an old house setting, this restaurant is adorable and is probably the best Mexican food I’ve had in Omaha. While their Al pastor is not the best I’ve ever had, it’s miles above anything I’ve had in the area. And the asada fries are a must try.

Everything I have had here is amazing! The Cali burrito is thee best in town and I think the best burrito I’ve ever had. Customer service is great as well! I have recommended a few people to this place and will keep doing so!

I have spent two summers in Omaha interning, and have been trying to find a solid taco spot. La Poblanita hands down have been the best tacos I have had while in Omaha, the quality of the asada and chorizo is the best I've had. Not to mention the atmosphere and service was perfect for what I look for in a solid taco spot, friendly, responsive, and homey!
