Incredibly delicious fresh and homemade food, I’ve never had a gordita, but I don’t think there are many like these out there! And the people were so nice. Great for vegetarians too!

Stopped in for a Saturday lunch and was pleased with the friendly service and delicious food. The Gorditas came hot and fresh of the grill and the flavored Micheladas were a nice treat.

1/2/25 This is still a regular place for me!

Ate dinner there for the first time last night. It was fantastic! I had the Gorditas with rice and beans. Everything was fresh and hot. The Hibiscus and Horchata drinks were both fresh and delicious. They were very friendly and helpful. I am going for dinner again tonight!
I highly recommend eating here!

Delightful, delicious, and authentic Durango Mexican fare! Everything is made fresh in-house daily. The homemade salsas are masterful—combining flavor and the perfect level of heat! The welcoming owner took care to explain the plethora of menu options, educated us on the Durango-style of food, and offered helpful suggestions. We are vegetarian. The menu has multiple vegetarian items with options to customize: gordita, burrito, quesadillas, or platter. The options are very accommodating depending on how hungry you are. We loved *everything* and left craving more! Also—the homemade flour tortillas are the BEST TORTILLAS we’ve ever eaten. Eat here!

I went for takeout several nights ago. Abby took my order and I paid. A minute or two later, I realized that I needed to add to the order - two Gorditas. When the order was ready, Angel brought it out to me. He is always so cheerful. I thanked him and left. Several blocks down the road, I realized that I did not pay for the additional two Gorditas. I made a U-turn and went back, embarrassed, and spoke to Abby. She refused payment. Then I tried to instead tip and she put her hand over the tip jar. She simply said, “please come back.” I highly recommend this restaurant. The family is wonderful, and the food is perfect. Try them, you will be delighted!

Great Little gem of a restaurant near downtown Omaha / I am in town every 6/8 weeks and never miss a chance of coming back and trying a new dish, awesome traditional authentic Mexican specialty dishes Rajas, Asado, Nopales Great Micheladas. Born in South Texas this place makes me feel like I'm at Abuelas (G-MAW's) house
