Laka Lono is one of my favorite "hidden" bars to stop at while I'm visiting Omaha. I'm allergic to Pineapple and Coconut (most of the menu) and the bartender went above and beyond to recommend a drink I could have and took extra care while preparing it. 10/10 recommend this cool little spot!

I was really excited to share the atmosphere with friends BUT the waiter wasn’t allowing it to happen! Very rude, snarky and barely giving us service! The drinks and presentation was good but he didn’t deserve the 25% added gratuity! Would have had another chest (serves 6, we had 5) but asking for water twice and a few other comments made it clear to leave!

Ok I’ll admit this place is pretty sketchy. The food is excellent. Despite the weird scenery I had a lot of doubts in my coworkers restaurant choosing capabilities. But we had pork wings and omg dude. We ordered both platters. Can I recommend you one over the other? NO because they’re BOTH THAT GOOD. Bother platters were awesome. I’d eat everything again. Super good. Service kinda sucks cuz it’s bar only that’s my only issue.

I wish there was slightly more lighting in the establishment, but I understand the intent. It makes the women much prettier. Didn't realize I left with a turnbuckle until ol' cappiies eyes adjusted on Howard street. Our server Juan was absolutely fantastic. Dude should be the vacation bartender casted in movies. Great drinks and service. The pig wings were delicious. Crazy good.
