Look, i get that when you buy a donut or a roll at 4pm it's a roll of the dice on the freshness level. But this was my most recent and last time giving lamars my business. $5 for a lamar bar that was so dried out i had to eat it like a kid eats bread discarding the crust and only eating the softer doughportions in the middle. If you're gonna charge a fortune for donuts and cant keep fresh in stock then for crying out loud lower the price after a certain time of day. this roll i was given is inexcusable. This has been the same experience several times but definitely the last.

LaMar’s Donuts in Omaha is hands down one of the best places to grab a fresh, delicious donut. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly baked goods fills the air, and the friendly staff makes you feel welcome.

The selection is fantastic—whether you’re craving a classic glazed donut, a rich chocolate long john, or their famous lemon-filled donut, there’s something for everyone. Each donut is light, fluffy, and packed with flavor without being overly sweet. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients!

The customer service is just as impressive as the donuts. The staff is always kind, efficient, and helpful, making the experience even better.

If you’re a donut fan, LaMar’s is a must-visit in Omaha. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!

Well, everyone, these are the best donuts around town. It's as simple as that, but with that said, you should get their kinda early if you want the good stuff as people know these are the best donuts. Also now that the staff is amazing and friendly. I went there wanting a donuts for the kiddos and they only had one, so they said don't worry And the fired up the frier and MADE ME ONE fresh right there just so my kids could leave with donuts. I can tell you that I'm a good 30 min away from this place, and it's worth the drive every time. PS don't forget to sign up for their rewards.
Thanks for reading!

Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly to the degree of having plenty of space at the table, and everyone knows that it's likely children will be with their families. It's a great place to take the kiddos for one of the best donuts in town.

Stopped by with the kids, order 4 donuts and was shocked when the total came out to $13!!! Just for comparison you can get 12 assorted donuts for $16.50 at Krispy Kreme.

I used to work for Lamar's when they first opened so I was taught the quality the donuts should be and unfortunately they have completely missed the mark and it isn't improving. I have went back multiple times thinking maybe it was just a random bad day but it hasn't gotten any better. The chocolate is never tempered right and they aren't doing some of the other donuts properly anymore either, the taste is off and they don't seem done. It's sad they are charging so much for the quality of donuts they're serving. I paid $15 for 5 donuts... C'mon Lamar's get it together

I have been going to Lamar's for many years (5+) they WERE really good but seems like they have gone downhill. I've tried and tried again thinking they will improve but seems to get worse and worse each time. Donuts are dry & not as fluffy and soft as they use to be , not even round seems more oval which wouldn't be an issue if they were actually good for the price they charge at this point gas station donuts are probably better. I hope one day they can get back to quality donuts.

It’s the literal greed. I purchased 6 pumpkin spice donuts and it was over $17.00!!??? Since I had driven there, I paid but I will not go back. Sad.
