This is the 3rd Thai Laos restaurant we’ve tried in Omaha (we are used to authentic Thai, laos, Cambodian food so we’re pretty picky) and this place was the best hands down! The papaya (both Thai and Laos style) salad fire!

Stopped in on a road trip from DC and we were blown away!! Delicious food, excellent portions (especially the fried rice), attentive and kind service, and great pricing! We ordered chicken pad thai and chicken basil fried rice- would highly recommend both! We have gluten allergies and the soy sauce was even gluten free! Don’t let the outside scare you off- inside it was clean and well decorated!

I had their Thai hot and sour soup with shrimp and crispy spring rolls with a delicious sauce selection. Excellent food... Out of this world. The restaurants has a nice atmosphere. Very kind and polite service. Definitely worth trying out.

This place was awesome. My partner and I are driving back to Colorado and stopped here for lunch. This is definitely an Omaha hidden gem. The service was great and the food was lovely. Our server had an infectious smile and made sure that we had everything we needed. Would come back here again.

I absolutely love this place! Amazing food, very kind and helpful staff and beautiful decor and atmosphere. Local and truly a hidden jewel of Omaha. My friend and I have been going for years and they are so sweet to us and always give us the best care. I bring everyone I can to them.
They can be inconsistent sometimes, but when they're on point, I prefer Laos to anywhere else in town. I think they have the best drunken noodles and Thai fried rice for sure, though I admit salween has better curry.

This was a pickup/to go order) Exceptional food! The portions are large as well. We ordered Basil Stir Fried Rice (added chicken), Chili Paste Oil Fried Rice (added chicken), Spinach Cheese Rolls, Shrimp in a Blanket, Crab Rangoon, and Mango Sweet Rice. Everything was hot, freshly made and absolutely delicious.
They packed our fried items in paper bags so they were still crispy when we got home to eat. The people who pack in styrofoam and let your fried items sweat in the steam from cooking ruin the food for to go orders. It was a thoughtful and environmentally friendly touch.
Our meals were packed in paper containers with a bit of foil on the bottom so their packaging is great. The Chili Paste Oil Fried Rice was fantastic. The taste and spice level were perfect. I ordered a level 5 and I like spicy and it was spot on. My husband ordered Basil Stir Fried Rice and he enjoyed it very much. He ordered 0 spicy and it was spot on for him as well.
The Shrimp in a Blanket has a cute name. It is not breaded like a pig in a blanket would be, they use wonton wrappers to blanket their shrimp. It had a delicate flavor that didn't overpower the shrimp, was a good size shrimp and it was very crispy.
The Spinach Cheese Rolls are small, thin and super crispy. We both enjoyed them very much. The Crab Rangoons were perfectly prepared albeit a bit too sweet for me but it is difficult to find them without some sweetness added so I don't fault them by any means.
Our dessert was Mango Sweet Rice. We had never tried it before. It was outstanding. I loved the contrast of the coconut milk sweetened rice with the perfectly ripe and very fresh mango. They are my favorite fruit so I know how difficult it is to get a good one.
This was our first time here as the place is fairly new. It replaced a terrible BBQ place. Thanks! Our meals were exceptional and we will absolutely be back. Sorry for the lack of photos we were really hungry and had no idea it would be so great.

10's across the board. We came in on a busy evening with only 1 server available and still were served quickly and kindly. I want to emphasize how lovely these people are- we unintentionally chatted our way up to closing time before realizing our mistake and not once did they try to push us out (even though we would have understood if they had).
We had a little bit of everything that night and I can honestly say it's all worth trying! The serving sizes are generous with plenty to take home, too. For appetizers- spring rolls and coconut shrimp are the move. Highly, highly recommend. I'm a sucker for a thai tea & I was not disappointed on that front either.
Overall, lovely experience! I'm becoming a regular, trust and believe.

We ordered take out and were blown away by the quality of food, the coconut shrimp was amazing and they poked little holes in the top of the to go container so it stayed crispy until it got to us. Mango Rangoon and red curry were other standouts, they have generous veggie portions and the veggies are perfectly cooked. Thanks Laos, we’ll be back!
Food is always fresh and tasty, no matter the dish. Accommodating waitstaff and we always leave satisfied.
