This is a homey spot in South Omaha. Food was fresh - we had the spring rolls with shrimp and a basil fried rice with ginger chicken stir fry. We asked for the food hot and it was probably medium at best. I would order a spice level up from what you usually get to get the right spice we came at 12:30 on a Sunday and were the only ones at the restaurant which was surprising. Food was solid but not the most authentic or best Thai by any means. Service was good, water was refilled quickly and food was out in a timely manner. Prices were reasonable. If you're looking for an average but reliable Thai spot, this is your place!

Be careful when ordering your heat level! I absolutely love this place and think their Pad Thai is the best! One time I ordered the heat level a 7 (out of 10) And we could not eat the food it was SO HOT!

The food was amazing and the service was top notch! The owners went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and that the food was just right to the taste. Would love to visit again!

Hands down one of the top 2-3 Thai restaurants in Omaha. We practically come here every week we can’t stay away. The yellow curry is PERFECT and it’s my favorite dish there. My husband’s favorite is the Tohm Kah coconut soup. He also loves a lot of the stir fry dishes. The service could be quicker however, we usually only see one chef and one server manning the whole restaurant. On busy days/times, you may wait a little longer for food. The staff is always very friendly and they recognize us when we come in. Highly recommend.

I typically tend to venture only in downtown or midtown Omaha for dining, but this outing was worth it! The restaurant is located not too far from downtown/midtown areas. The service was nice and the vibe was pleasant (relaxing, modern feel with a touch of Thai). The cuisine from Thailand seemed delicious. It was well presented. Nice selection for vegetarians (like me) and those who are not afraid to handle spices. Overall, a delightful experience. Go try it out.

The best Thai I’ve had in Omaha. The tom kha soup is delicious, and we had the custard with sweet rice which was super good! This is going to be one of our favorites.

This has become our go-to Thai takeout spot over some of the other restaurants in town. Not sure on the ambiance, but the takeout food is always fresh and flavorful. Recently we ordered three dishes: basil fried rice with tofu, beef pad thai with extra noodles and pineapple curry combo (beef, chicken and shrimp. There spice levels are mild, medium, hot, very hot and Thai hot. The "hot" was probably more of a medium, but order accordingly. All of the food was hot, fresh and very flavorful. My combination curry had lots of big, perfectly cooked shrimp and generous portions of beef and chicken. The tofu in the basil fried rice was fried and then sautéed, so it had a great texture and flavor to it. I've been thinking about this food for a couple of days now and can't wait to order again.

Laos Thai in South Omaha is a hidden gem that brings authentic flavors to the table without any unnecessary frills. If you're looking for a fantastic food experience, be sure to bring cash and a hearty appetite to this charming spot. Start with their mouthwatering spring rolls - they're a delightful way to kick off your meal. The pad Thai is a must-try; its flavors will transport you to a happy place of culinary delight. Keep in mind that the service might be a bit slow, but that's a blessing in disguise. It gives you ample time to soak in the simple, homely ambiance of this market-style eatery. Among the numerous fantastic Thai restaurants in Omaha, I consistently find myself delighted when Los Thaos Kitchen becomes the choice for the evening!

This is one of the closer places for me to get Thai takeout. The food is fresh and tasty. Service is friendly. I enjoy the variety of options for noodle and rice based dishes.
