Delicious food from starters to desserts! Outstanding service 2nd time in Omaha and 2nd visit... planning to take my family with me next time.
The weather was great, so my wife and I sat outside and dined before going to the Orpheum. What a great experience, meal, and service.
Great food and amazing wine program! I usually take my senior leadership here while they are visiting in Omaha. Super cool vibe and imaginative menu. My table all tried the crème brûlée and said it was literally they best they've ever had.
The food was good. The service was good, but slow. I felt like the front of house staff seemed very judgmental about our appearance.
Truly some of the worst food I have ever had, and I don't say that lightly. My partner and I ordered the chefs tasting menu. I had the asparagus soup, brown butter trout & the blueberry desert. He had the eggplant, the lamb and the chocolate torte. The appetizers were immediately disappointing. The asparagus soup was almost inedible. I took about 4 bites. Super heavy, and tasted like just cream. The trout was burnt & the whole fish tasted that way. I was also very confused by the pile of vegetables on top? It was literally covered in an Italian dressing and they were just limp. I did not eat them. My desert was also pretty bad. I took 2 bites and my partner (who will literally eat any desert) wouldn't even finish it. His eggplant was okay. The lamb was disappointing. It was covered in a thick layer of breading which was so strange & also topped with a bunch of random vegetables? The chocolate torte was okay as well. We did finish iit but it was dry. Not worth $217. We saved so we could splurge and go out in a nice date and it was truly wasted.
A beautiful lunch. Service was warm and the food was tremendous---a mix of old favorites and first time experiences. As usual the risotto was perfect. Highly recommended.
First of all I wish there’s more items on the happy hour menu
I had the happy hour dozen oyster, which I thought half of it was great (loved the sweet petite) and the Riesling was good as well.
Then I had the pork chop, which I don’t love so much. The portion was great and the fresh peas really made a difference. However the pork chop itself was so overcooked and stringy, the seasoning was way too salty. There’s no complexity — it’s just salty without any other flavors. I was kind of disappointed at the pork chop.
I had a really great time at this place. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and it had a nice, relaxed vibe that made the whole evening enjoyable. The wine was excellent, and all the drinks we tried were really tasty. They had a good variety to choose from, and everything was made well.
Our waiter was super kind and very helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed and gave us good suggestions from the menu. One of the highlights of the meal was the frog legs – they were cooked perfectly and had amazing flavor. I would definitely order them again.
The portion sizes were huge! You get a lot of food for the price, which was a nice surprise. It really felt like a good value. I ordered the chicken dish – the flavor was nice, though the chicken was just a little dry. But honestly, everything else on the plate made up for it.
Overall, the food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the setting was lovely. I really enjoyed my visit and would be happy to come back again.
Had one of the most disappointing meals. Im not sure if the kitchen staff was off tonight or if its a more systemic issue. The food was way below average. The lamb schnitzel was burnt, chewy, and unevenly cooked. The filet was tender but lacked any flavor - at $50+, Ive had a better steak at every restaurant Ive eaten at in Omaha. Wine selection was decent and the oysters were good. But, wow, quality of dinner was as disappointing as I can remeber eating in the last 5 years. Lots of places to eat in Omaha, and if Im spending more than $500 on a meal, almost everywhere is going to be better. There were no wow factors during the meal. Love V Mertz, love Le Voltaire, love many of steak houses across the metro. Just won't be back.
Excellent food and great service!

Le Bouillon is not only a fantastic restaurant, it's also one of the best kept secret wedding venues in Omaha! I got married here two weeks ago and we are still getting compliments from guests about how amazing the food and service was and how beautiful the restaurant is! Not only did we not have to rent or really bring anything other than the decorations we wanted, but the cost to rent out the restaurant all goes to food and drinks! Le Bouillon is easily one of the most affordable wedding venues in Omaha! It also has an event planner, Katie who amazing and so helpful! She helped with every detail of wedding planning. During the lead up she was in communication about food, guest count, allergies, day of schedule--all of the things you need to know but don't necessarily know you need to know. She and her assistant Mackenzie were there the day of the wedding too to help with coordination and with anything that would come up. They also helped with guest wrangling from the ceremony (which was in the Mirror Room and was absolutely GORGEOUS) and made sure that my husband and I always had a drink in our hand and were good! We had the most amazing day and I can't thank Katie, Mackenzie, and the rest of Le Bouillon enough! If you're looking for a fun event space that is reasonable in cost, absolutely stunning, and one that will take care of you and your guests, you should ABSOLUTELY contact Katie!
Had a lovely lunch here while traveling for work. The trout was phenomenal, the waitress was delightful, and the patio was lovely. The only thing I would say is that the patio could use a little more decoration, but it was the beginning of the warm weather so I might have just missed it! But overall I had a gorgeous lunch and will be back if I end up in Omaha again!
Beautiful restaurant! My husband had the Culottes steak that he really enjoyed. Unfortunately, I really cannot tolerate vinegar and although I asked for a dry salad the radishes were soaked in it and kind of ruined it for me. The server comped me the onion soup which was very good so I appreciated that. I made the mistake of not asking if their was vinegar on the trout because that is not something I'd seen before but the trout and green beans were fine but they were covered with cabbage leaves marinated in vinegar so I got light vinegar fish which was not expected. While the service was good a savvy server would have connected the dots on that.
I would be embarrassed charging what they are charging. We ordered the caviar and might have gotten less than a table spoon of it. The food was not seasoned well and the steak oh my god the god the steak. They are charging $52 dollars for a 3 ounce filet that is on top of soggy potatoes. We had to send ours back once for being raw and didnt eat it the second time as they cooked it well. Our waitress asked everyone around us if they were celebrating anything. We were not asked when it was our anniversary and we filled out the reservation stating it was so. The reason for this is we had our rehearsal dinner here in may 23,24. It was wonderful. This time it was not good, over priced and just generally not enjoyable. We ate way in the back at the three tables in the back. We were on the far left. Honestly I would be embarrassed with you food, cooks and some aspects of your service. You are not running a tight ship.
There was live music playing down the street, birds singing our entire time here and the server was AMAZING!!! The Bouillon salad with steak, impeccable. Great wine selection, fabulous art, dreamy all around!
