I want to love this place because the food is great, but every time I go in, the staff is just so cold and unfriendly. Nobody ever makes eye contact with me or greets me. It feels like I am a bother. Today I ordered a coffee drink and sandwich and the only thing that anyone said to me was, “Here’s your drink,” and “Here’s your sandwich” as they tossed it onto the counter (two different staff members). Excellent food. Often so busy they can miss an order detail. The sandwiches are tasty. Our favorite: the veggie and cauliflower. The bread is superb. Want to try more selections. It’s easy to call ahead of time. Ample parking.
I just popped in to check the new(er) location out after grabbing a book. Ordered the Turkey Bacon Avocado with the couscous salad for my side. That sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time. Strong smoky bacon but nice balance with avocado and turkey on a stellar ciabatta. Take a break from the predictable chains and eat local!
