Le Voltaire French Restaurant

As always, Le Voltaire didn't disappoint! The French 75 was deliciously smooth. We started with the Brie appetizer, phenomenal!The coq au vin was to die for-bowl licking delicious! Le Voltaire is a fantastic Omaha gem.

Our server was very patient and knowledgeable. She offered to help tailor our dining experience, asking if we needed less time for our dinner or if we wanted to stay a while and enjoy our evening longer. As always the food was delicious and the presentation was impeccable. As a bonus, I was invited to meet Chef Wilson, which put my latest experience over the top. Please give Le Voltaire a try if you haven't already!

Reservation wasn't honored. So noisy we couldn't hear our guests. Food was average. Service was poor. Disappointing in every respect. Will never go back.

Love this place for Sunday Brunch. I had the Omelette Florentine this time and it was outstanding. The wait staff are all very warm and service oriented. Well done

We have dined at Le Voltaire several times and have always been nothing but impressed. You can tell a lot about a dining establishment and its chef/ management when you consistently see the same servers over several years and that is the case here

Sam and Ryan were superb servers being both attentive and knowledgeable. Good was fantastic and the wine list with numerous DRC selections was unmatched. Will be back again.

Excellent experience, as always. Le Voltaire is one of the best culinary experiences in Omaha's food scene.

Dinner was veal piccata but not breaded. The sauce was amazing and the meat outstanding. Mash potatoes were awesome with sauce. Dessert coconut gelato. Yummmmm!

We had a fantastic experience. The chef is second to none and the food was delicious!! We will be back!

Been to Le Voltaire for special occasion dinners many times, but hadn't tried their brunch menu until now. This place is absolutely a hidden gem for brunch, and you should definitely try to go before the rest of Omaha catches on!

We had been here once before for an anniversary dinner (before Covid). That experience was very, very good. I had a fish special and my husband got Coq au Vin. Both were excellent. However. my husband preferred the wide variety of the menu at Biaggi's. So, we continued to go there for our anniversary. But, I really wanted to go back to Le Voltaire. So I drug him begrudgingly there last night. He raved about the bread. He liked his salad - but had regrets about not adding blue cheese. My French onion soup was excellent. And then came the Entrees. He had the chef's special sea food pasta. I had Boeuf Bourguignon. OMG. The Boeuf was the best I've ever had. And I spent several weeks in Paris during my gap year. My husband didn't say much. But he was eating steadily. About 20 minutes into our entrees, he leaned over and said “I think we've found a new anniversary restaurant”. This from a stubborn old man who never admits when he's wrong. Our regret is that we ate all our entrees and were too full to get Crème Brûlée. But, we know better for next year.
