The UNO Library is a great place for learning. It's next to the Milo Bail student center. It has news announcements on the screens to keep up with student events. The creative lab has tools and programs to keep you design what you need. There is a free charging station for your personal devices. There is computers available to use along with a printing station. There is also an art gallery inside the library as a way to relax and get inspired. This is a productive place to get prepared and to be productive. The staff is available and always eager to help if you have any questions about books.
the saddest library hours you will ever see
Individual study rooms should be cleaned regularly.
A standard library that showed some signs of age but still well maintained. I visited on Friday AM so not much traffic, but surprised that some of the cubicles with the best views and lightings along Dodge were mostly reserved for graduate students. I also liked those interesting study pods/couch Criss offered on the top floor.
Super disappointed that the wrong hours are listed on the website for the library - counting on accuracy is not unrealistic. Wasted my precious limited time getting set up and then BAM LIBRARY CLOSED AT 8! What univ library closes at 8pm?!
It’s extremely disappointing that the UNO library closed at 6pm on the weekend before finals. My study group was planning on spending all of our time there to prepare for our Monday and Tuesday exams. It is useless that they are open until 2 am on the week of finals. By then, we will have no need for the prolonged hours. There are no good cafes to study at with space like the library. UNO needs to do better for their students.
I do not know whose idea it was to let a Starbucks store in a library, but it was a very bad decision. Prices are ridiculously high, and it is very noisy as the Starbucks wall is open to the library area, so it is difficult to work and concentrate. This is a library, not a food court.
I recently booked the theatre room for three hours. I got there an hour late and tried to get in the room and was told I was unable to because I was more the 15 minutes late. The employees acted like this 15 minute rule was common knowledge. Nowhere on the website or when booking the room does it state that if you’re 15 minutes late then the room is forfeited. I am very upset about this and if this is an actual rule it needs to be stated on the reservations and on the website.
We booked the theater room for an evening. We showed up an hour late to our booking time because of an emergency and the lady with the buzz cut was extremely rude, telling us that someone else had shown up and gotten the room. Apparently, if you’re 15 minutes late to your room, you lose it. She acted like this was common knowledge. Meanwhile, nowhere on their website does it say that or even when you go to book a room. Extremely frustrated.
I love this library! So many books to choose from…and it’s a quiet place to study and staff is very helpful

I love the quietness of the library and all the resources it has available to students.
The study rooms are free to be reserved online and unlocked with your mavcard, but I've sometimes found people already in the study room I reserved because those doors get left open. Otherwise the cafe is good (although pricy) and people are great at respecting the quiet floors. Basically the higher the floor the quieter you need to be. I'd recommend study rooms C-F because H, J, and G I believe have clear doors facing the main hallway. C-F at least face a more secluded hallway just for the study rooms!

Good place to learn.
A huge and managed library, kudos to UNO.
