The Thursday night steak special is a great deal.
Our poor waitress felt so bad that her manager and owner wouldn’t make a terrible food experience right that she paid for 1/2 our meal out of her own pocket. I made up for it and paid her back with her tip. So sad that a restaurant won’t back their servers and do the right thing. The owner of this place acts like they run the only bar and grill in town.
We were drawn to going to the Lighthouse for their fish deal seen online and the pizza. We ordered the 1/2 pound fish platter and it was more like a 1/2 pound of dried fish batter. No fish but maybe 2 good pieces. The price was $15.99 which was outrageous for what we were served. The meal also came with a handful of fries and 2 over cooked hush puppies with a very unflavored coleslaw. We then asked for hot sauce and were given a typical small container of it and without knowing we were charged $.50 for it. Unfortunately, this was the worst experience, as they only offered more fish and not to give a refund. Just a warning the pictures of the fish on the website are nothing like what is served.
The service was outstanding. We went during a slower time of the afternoon. Food was hot and served promptly. I had the Italian meatball sandwich and onion rings.
The sandwich was okay for what tasted like canned sauce and a generic cheese, nothing special. Kind of a smaller portion. The toasted bun was a nice touch. The onion rings were huge and made the almost hotdog bun sized sandwich look smaller than it was.
Typical concrete, industrial atmosphere. Lots of TV's but the sun was bright enough not to see them well from facing east in the afternoon.
I'm not a huge fan of chain food but, I wasn't hungry when I left. Prices were as expected. A decent place, I guess.
Came in to get an early dinner. Around 4:30 on a Sunday. Maybe 5 other tables eating in the whole place.
At the counter we’re 5 waitresses and waiters just standing there talking. Each one looked at us but just ignored us.
Took 15 min before a waitress that was in back to finally come and take our order.
Wife and I used to love coming here for a bite. We went today and the food was just not up to par. Seems like the quality has taken a dive. Ordered a blackened chicken wrap and it was basically tasteless. Fries were disappointing as well and tasted off.
Monday hamburger special is great with onion rings.
It can get noisy.
Just another bar and grill.
Nothing too fancy or unique
Wife and myself went to the 168th street location and had the Prime Rib special. It was our first time going to the Lighthouse Bar and Grill. And it definitely won't be our last. The food and service was excellent. I got fries as my side and they were great. My wife got the baked potato and she said that it was perfect. We also got the Carmel Banana cake and it was so good. I highly recommend this place.
Burger special was delicious.

Random stopped in for nachos on a friday night. Was told about a prime rib special. Couldn't pass it up for only $29.99 and ended up getting the 20oz for only $5 more. Wow so good. Will be back!
Great pizza, hand made crust that was delicious. Could use a little more red sauce for my taste but overall excellent ingredients. Quiet nice sports bar on Sunday night.
Food is good, however, I placed an order and stupidly did it for pickup instead of delivery and when I called to request a refund as I was unable to physically go pick it up, they told me they would not refund me.
Go for the food. Great specials. Great service every time.
We have eaten at this establishment 1,000+ times. We are always great to the staff and very generous with our tips. We eat here at a minimum 2 times a week and have truly gotten to know the staff. Today, we placed an order to go that turned into an order we wanted to eat in due to a medical situation. Upon arriving we asked if we could eat our to go order there. We were told, of course. The tables were maybe half full in the entire place. We asked our waitress if we could place an order for drinks. She rudely said, we don't wait on folks who choose to eat their to go order in. Mind you we planned to order drinks, pay for them and tip. We even asked the manager, whom we've gotten know, if we could order drinks, again to be told we don't typically allow people to eat their to go order in and we don't wait on them. The manager also stated they were slow today even with an away Huskers football game. Wouldn't that be a reason to have your wait staff wait on us - to make some additional money? Keep in mind, we have eaten here so many times. Spent so much money. And have tipped generously. Well, it will be a longggggg time if ever until we step foot in this establishment again. Goes to show that places don't value customers and especially don't value consistent repeat customers. My advice, find somewhere else to visit, one that will appreciate you as a customer.
