When we are in Omaha we try to get by here at least once while we are visiting. Food is great. Service is even better. The building is old so it has a lot of character. But the food, it's worth the trip here. Sorry I didn't get any pictures, but as soon as the food it the table it was like a shark feeding frenzy. And the food came out pretty fast. As long as we have a need to go to Omaha, we will return. Prices were fairly reasonable.

If you like to wait 45 min to get in and an hour to get your breakfast this is the place. Food wasn’t that good , just go to a buffet and spend the same.

Let's start with the food. Overall the food was ok, I wasn't very impressed. My pancakes were burned and not fluffy, eggs didn't have any flavor, hash browns were mushy and not crunchy or flavorful. My wife also agreed the food was missing something.
The service was much better but once again mediocre. I had to get the server 3 times just to get refills on my drink and the wives drink. I asked for water for my kids but never got it. My kids never got a drink. They forgot to give us silverware until I asked.
Atmosphere is where it gets interesting. I loved the brick layout on the interior of the diner and old rustic look, unfortunately it ends there. To start, when we sat down our bench had a lot of tape over the seat and when I sat down I realized there was no cushion inside the seat or a chunk was missing. My daughter was sitting next to a receipt page that was taped to the wall saying "caution A/C drips here" on the table and seat. Every single air vent had what looked like black mold or maybe black dust flapping on the vents and around the vents. The ceiling had water stains in various spots. My silverware were dirty and so was the plate they brought my food on. The sanitation of the place was absolutely horrendous.
Overall I will not be coming back anytime in the future, nor recommending this place to anyone.
