Cute place with same vibe as the previous bar. Inna good way. The drinks appetizer and salad were all really good, pizza could use some improvement. Left a 5 star review in hopes that this place continues to grow and make quality food and atmosphere for benson
We got the crab rangoon sticks, truffle fries, phõ pizza, and velvet hammer pizza. The truffle fries stole the show - very good. Crab rangoon sticks had great flavor, but were a bit too creamy and came out lukewarm. Phõ pizza was actually very true to pizza and pho, just wish it had a little more chew to it. Velvet Hammer was okay - we weren't sure where it was going, and it didn't seem like there was any buffalo mozzarella. Both pizzas could've been a bit bulkier....
Really good pizza. Interesting combos. The Spicy Boi was a hot delight. The tomato sauce is very good and the crust is excellent. Service was really good, and not just on the post-COVID curve, but genuinely attentive. Benson needs more good restaurants and this is exactly it. My wife and I are already talking about returning and it's only been a few hours.
