Since moving to Omaha from Southern California, we have been searching for a place that serves authentic Mexican food. We finally found it in Los Portales! Homemade tortillas, enchilada sauce, tamales, etc... Everything was on point. Not sure why Omaha has such generally terrible Mexican food, but so glad that we found Los Portales. The interior is nothing fancy, but the food is great!!!
Super good. Travel across the state a few times a year and always try new taco spots.
I smashed on the Fried Flour Shell Tacos. Tried the Asada and Pastor. Great flavorful meat. Liked the fried shells. They were thin and crispy. Not too puffy or chewy just the right crunch. Rice and beans were on point. Salsa was tasty. Girlfriend got the soft corn shell carnitas, was also muy bueno. Good price, Will def stop again! Thank you!

The portions are large... i didn't finish my torta and that doesn't happen often. The meat selection is amazing. The staff is friendly.
