The server that’s usually there a woman who does awesome wasn’t. We had this guy who didn’t notice us for awhile which we didn’t think anything of there’s only usually one server when we go. There was one other table besides us in there. We finally ordered after waiting for him and after we had “put our orders in” came back to tell us they were out of chicken broth, not beforehand. Ate here for the first time today and absolutely loved it! We will definitely be back.
I ordered a veggie poke bowl and they brought out dry rice, tofu, and a few onions. When I asked where the veggies were they said they ran out. Yet you still served it to me with a straight face????

Based on the reviews, Ika San Ramen & Izakaya offers some amazing and delicious meals. The Drover’s whiskey steak and Ika’s ramen are described as absolutely incredible and world-class. The spicy bok choy, double trouble roll, and pork gyoza were all so good, with perfectly grilled bok choy and yummy sauce. Steamed buns and birria are also great. The ramen bowls are top notch. However, some reviews note that the ramen left a lot to be desired, as the noodles were from a supermarket pack and the pork belly was chewy and rubber like. One beef dish was overly salty due to a change in beef vendors. The menu is amazing and everything else was delicious. The restaurant has a lovely space and friendly service. Business has been down due to construction on Farnham, but this place will not disappoint.
