Great breakfast spot. We have gone quite a few times on the weekend. It is usually busy but we have always been seated quickly and the food is very good. Never had bad service

Nicest part of our breakfast at lulas was the staff.
Never in my life have I been to a breakfast place that can't cook toast or a Mexican place that can't make salsa. The toast was burned and the salsa was so salty I couldn't finish. Not worth the price. I don't normally leave reviews but here I am leaving my second ever review I was so disappointed. I love food.

Promising location. Everything beyond was disappointing. Our server was a nice guy, tried his best. We entered the restaurant around 1030 after a 20 minute wait on a Saturday (not bad for downtown!). Sat and our server came in a reasonable time frame. A latte took about 20 minutes. Ordered food around 30 minutes into our stay (11ish). Had time for three refills on our drinks before our food finally arrived at 1225 in stages. We didn't order anything difficult - biscuits and gravy, a waffle. We debated paying for our drinks and leaving around 1130 but really had wanted breakfast so decided we were compelled to stay for that reason. Food was mid. Moderately warm, somewhat congealed. Overall, an unimpressive waste of time. Go somewhere else if you want breakfast in downtown Omaha. McDs could have done it better.

Great breakfast with both traditional dishes and a great variety of Mexican restaurant inspired featured dishes. We've been there about 4 or 5 times now and its a great place for breakfast in downtown Omaha.

They do serve Stories coffee, lattes, mocha, etc. So thats a plus.

We last went on a Saturday around lunch time and got a table right away. They have mimosas on Satirdays amd they looked popular, although we didn't try them.

The overall place inside is great, but I only gave it 3 stars for atmosphere because the bartender making mimosas (non-stop) was throwing the champagne bottles into a trash barrel full of other bottls really hard and making it crazy loud in there. Im OK with the usual restaurant noise, but there was a loud glass o. Glass bottle noise about every couple minutes.

I'd recommend the place for sure.

Tasty food, great service, and a fantastic location! I really enjoyed the quality of the food and the friendly, attentive service. The prices were a bit higher than expected, but the amazing setting helps balance that out. Overall, a great spot worth checking out!

Waited a half hour to get a seat which is very reasonable… but an additional 40 mins until food came out? My friends had to leave without their meal bc it came out so late. The food itself was very mid, the specialty plates were better but the egg plate/breakfast sandwich was dry and seasonless. Uncomfortable seating and my husband has to switch out his chair twice bc of how wobbly it was, we concluded it might just be the floor being uneven.

Short walk from Hilton. Greeted very pleasantly and ordered after a couple recommendations. Make your own burrito and scramble and it is a very friendly and quick place to go for a late breakfast if you are around the convention center or ballpark

Busy place on a Sunday morning. We had a short wait at 10min. Server was informative and friendly while being efficient. Food was wonderful. Chicken fried steak was a real cut of meat. The only thing that left me wanting was the grape jelly as a marmalade or a sour berry would have been a nice contrast.

First time visitor to Lulu B’s situated just as you get off the interstate and come into downtown Omaha / Old Market.

Parking is a bit tricky. We found a paid meter in the lot located behind Lulu B’s.

Brunch on a Saturday is busy, waiting times vary, but expect to wait for outside and inside dining.

We were sat in the back area where there were large parties of families - screaming children, so our noise level experience is a bit jaded. Servers had their hands full with the larger parties - service was subpar.

Our #1 rule for a good tip and recommendation is to always have our cups/glasses full glass of water, or beverage, especially if there is no food provided or food just served. We were asked if we wanted a refill after our plates had been removed. We sat through waiting, brunch and getting our ticket with empty glasses. A lot of servers walking around doing nothing…

Food was good. Nothing over the top, hashbrowns not crispy as we would like when we asked - good flavor. We’d come back and try again maybe in the fall or winter when not as many people out and about.

Recommend: Yes, we plan to try again.

It’s a busy Sunday morning, I understand the staff can be overwhelmed or stressed out. But our server and service was truly horrible. She did not seem like she wanted to be there at all, I think she came and checked on us 3 times? From start to finish. I have worked in industries where you make your money from your tips. Tips are appreciated and not expected, especially when you cannot provide good service you shouldn't expect a good tip. Not to mention we sat right by the dumpster and the buser next to us was dumping the water over the railings and it splashed on my husbands foot. The food was mid.
