First time visit today with my wife. Ordered two fish sandwich combos. We were not greeted or welcomed when we entered and everyone working just stared at us. No communication really at all, which we were put off by shortly after ordering. We thought we would eat in but they bagged up our food to go. Maybe they should have asked? They were out of a few menu items. Food was fresh. Not good enough to go back anytime soon expecting not to feel good about spending my money there.

I am posting this regarding my own experience and my aunt. They do not sale catfish. It is swai and my “catfish” was over cooked so crispy it seem like I was only eating the cornmeal. Not ok.

I miss the Lutfi's that closed in Shawnee, KS. It was a regular stop. So when traveling I happen upon one in Omaha it was time to drift the car through the entrance and into a spot. Needed to be there a bit earlier--just missed getting the greens. Half dinner of catfish with fried okra and red beans & rice.
Parking: You'll need to be traveling North to pull in - divided street. They are on the East side.

I went to Lutfi's fried fish this weekend. I got the dinner plate, with catfish, and French fries/greens. I also added on sides of their fried okra and potato salad. It was amazing, and enough for two meals! The fish was seasoned so well, as well as the greens. The potato salad was delicious and homemade. The fried okra was the best I have ever had! They have different kinds of fish to choose from, including whiting. I highly recommend you go!!!!! It is a small shop, but you can take it to go, or they do have a small seating area. They also have desserts! My co-worker recommend this place, and they did not disappoint!

Wanted a quick bite to eat. Fish was the choice today. The atmosphere was very homey. The service was quick and fast. The food was hot and fresh. Our order consisted of 2 comeback meals, one with mac and cheese second with hush puppies. Would definitely go back.
