This place was simply amazing. Great food, great atmosphere, great service! If you’re looking for Thai food in Omaha, look no further. 10/10
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolute gem in Omaha — do not sleep on this place! My friend and I went to Mai Tai Cuisine last night and honestly… I’m still thinking about it this morning. From the moment we walked in, we were wowed. The space is adorable — newly renovated, cozy, and chic without trying too hard. You can feel the love that went into creating it. Our server, Nichole, deserves her own standing ovation. She was warm, funny, and genuinely made the night feel special. You know when someone just gets hospitality? That’s her. The menu may be on the smaller side, but every single dish feels intentional and perfected. I had the Yellow Curry with Duck, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of the best things I’ve eaten in Omaha — rich, silky, flavorful perfection. My friend tried Pad Thai for the first time ever (I know!) and now they’re ruined for all other Pad Thai forever. We started with Gyoza, and it was the perfect kickoff — crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. Everything that hit the table was fresh, balanced, and beautifully presented. It’s rare to find a restaurant where everything clicks — the ambiance, the service, the food, the energy — but Mai Tai Cuisine nailed it. Easily one of my new favorite spots in Omaha. If you’re looking for your next go-to dinner spot, look no further. This place is a total 10/10 experience.
On our recent (and first) visit to Mai Thai, our party of three each requested spice levels (1-5), and they struggled to execute on those requests. They initially brought out the wrong meals, took them back to the kitchen, and later returned with the proper meals. However, one was significantly more spicy than the level 2 requested. Also, it appeared that the music volume level continued to increase during the time that we were there. Overall, the experience was lacking because of the volume and confusion, and one meal being much more spicy than desired.

Their Mango crab ragoons do not look or taste the same anymore neither does their crispy chicken. The dipping sauce is the same though. This was my favorite place before they closed for renovation. Staff is still great . Atmosphere still great but I hope they go back to their original recipe which made them special and above all the other spots in Omaha. I attached a photo of how their mango crab ragoons use to look.

Best service ever and food was out of this world! The Spicey Muscles were the best I have ever had in my life! I tried Duck for the First time as well, and it was fantastic! I never seen a team of servers work as amazing as the ones did tonight & that makes the dining experience on A+!!!! Me and my family will be back very soon!

Went to eat. Closed for renovations yet Google isn't updated.
The best Thai place in Omaha or Lincoln. I haven’t had this good of Thai since moving to the Midwest.
Solid place! Both the Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles were excellent.

Service was great, and food was amazing. My mom and split an order of fried veggie spring rolls, her entree was Drunken Noodles with Shrimp, that was very tasty. My entree something like Pad Soo Yen, a clear thin noodle dish that had veggies and a side of white rice, and chicken. I like that this place lets you choose spice level, and I chose level 2.
Great Pad Thai! The food is delicious!
They had great service. Servings so big, I had to take my food back with me.
Upon sitting down, we were greeted by a server who was sniffing back snot and sneezing. We left.
Mai Thai has been my go to for a while but recently our portions have gotten smaller and smaller and prices have gone up drastically. The spice level isn’t on point and the flavors have started to become lacking. I understand the need to raise prices to keep consistency on quality, but the quality and quantity of food has definitely fallen off. Service is fine, sometimes the wait is quite long but $60 for two lunch entrees and two Thai teas is starting to be outrageous.
