One of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Friendly staff, quick to make great food suggestions. Large portions and plenty of options, from appetizers, ala carte and full meals. Lots of margarita selections. Chips and salsa are free.
Oddly decorated little spot…I wasn’t sure what to expect. HUGE menu with some things I had never heard of. So I got the piña relleno. This thing was MASSIVE! The meat was perfectly charred and the pineapple was not overpowering…added a beautiful flavor without being sweet. Homemade tortillas rounded this meal out perfectly. The birria tacos were very well seasoned and plentiful. Packed with cilantro and served with a rich consume.
Food was decent, for the most part. Price was good. Am I going to crave going back? Probably not. Chicken fajitas had good flavor, but the pieces of chicken were thin little strips and there was far too many peppers and onions that the little chicken bits got lost in. Server pretty much disappeared and there was no way to see and I've working there in the corner we were seated in.Too many Mexican restaurants in this town to only be mediocre.
