I wish I could give more stars. The place was PACKED. The parking was sparse, and the wait was about 45 minutes for a party of 2. Service was great and super friendly/attentive, but I just wasn't a fan. This isn't the kind of place that brings chips and salsa for free up front. The queso was good, and the rice and beans were good but everything else was bland like some other reviewers mentioned. The taco shell was a unique experience but I'd prefer a corn tortilla or normal crunchy taco shell. The meat and filling was pretty meh as well. Truthfully, you'll get more flavor from a Taco Bell Gordita or something similar. Also not a fan of the gravy on the burritos. If you're looking for an Americanized, kids-will-like-it, type place with extremely strong margaritas, this a good choice. If you're looking for some more authentic Mexican food with a lot of flavor, I'd pick somewhere else.

I grew up as a kid in Omaha loving Maria's. Now I'm grown and live in Florida but cannot make a trip to Omaha without eating at my favorite restaurant! Excellent food and friendly service, fun atmosphere.

Amazing place,my family and I showed up right as Maria’s opened, there was a line outside already. So first I want to say that I’m a little upset that this restaurant is in a place I typically wouldn’t drive by had I not been recommended by Samantha, feel like I’ve been missing out for years:)The food and staff were absolutely amazing. I ordered a plate (#2)that was actually 2 plates that consisted of a taco, tamale, enchilada, tostada and rice /beans ,for $17 if I remember correctly. The amount of food….i can typically put a lot down and I needed a “to go “box for the tamale(was great the next day).My wife ordered the 2 enchiladas plate, the kiddos both ordered chicken quesadillas .I think we all know how the majority of restaurants seem to throw a little more lettuce or rice with a meal to make up for the lack of meat,I completely understand with the cost of things, but not here,it was loaded with meat, the price and quality were honestly like old school meals and prices for lack of better words! The environment was great, they asked if we wanted to sit on the”heated patio”,my wife is cold in most restaurants so I thought “oh man,is it really heated? “… they have radiant heat across the entire patio and I am pretty sure it was warmer than the inside! I could go on and on but as a person that typically hates reviews due to the fact I think some people just don’t get out to eat much,I felt like it was worth recommending that everyone that likes good food and good people try this place,i 100 percent guarantee you will not be disappointed! Thank you again to Maria and her staff! Wanted to add that I don’t typically use Google for the hours of a place,I think anyone over the age of 12 knows that they are not accurate,I think it’s worth going back when they are open to leave a review rather than pics of a dark restaurant ??‍♂️??‍♂️

Margaritas and queso were good, but the food was quite bland - think unseasoned ground beef wrapped in a flour tortilla and topped off with some brown gravy from a packet. I'll seek more flavorful food elsewhere in the future.

It was closed although Google maps says it was open and there was nothing posted on line on there website or Facebook saying otherwise get all the way there drove for 20 minutes and they have a paper sign on the door saying they are closed until January 2nd.

Every time I have came here it is closed even though it says they’re open online. Today’s December 27 at 7 PM on their door They have a note it says they’re closed but it’s not updated online. Several times now it’s just an annoyance I recommend calling don’t rely on updates from the business!

Closed every time I have came here even during business hours this has happened 6 times! Google is not updated for their holiday and between holiday hours. December 27th at 7pm says they’re open online but I’m here it’s closed…. Disappointed again.Parking: 27 spots

Yay! We find a new favorite taco Tuesday spot! Available as a pair of chicken, beef or mixed tacos in a puff shell, these are delicious, filling and not boring. We also ordered chips and queso, and added the hot sauce that was on the table to both the chips and the tacos. The margarita was served in a glass and was quite tasty. Open since the 1970s, and we can see why!
