There seems to be a lot of young people working at this location. I don't see a problem with that in itself. However, when there's inappropriate behavior that's visible through the drive thru window, it's a little much. There's nothing wrong with having fun at work but you have to maintain a level of professionalism because you're the face of the company for which you work. A girl was clearly flirting with a fellow male employee which I could see and hear from the drive thru window. The person helping me was unaffected by the behavior and didn't let it impact their level of performance but it did distract me. I'm not saying you can't flirt with your fellow team members either but is this really something you should be doing in view of customers? Asking me to pull around and wait for order also makes me question if these employees could have been making better use of their time. Personally, I've never felt comfortable taking advantage of the time I'm getting paid for. Maybe I'm being overly critical but the chicken sandwich I ordered was made with two bottom buns. Not a huge deal but it might not have happened had the employees been more focused on their jobs. Unless it was caused by problems with the vendors they use or wherever the products were packaged. My overall impression of this location just wasn't great. I do not plan on visiting this location again any time soon. Of that much I am certain.

I'm disabled and poor and wanted to have fast food for the first time in months (I can't afford almost anything so rare fast food is my only treat). Your mcdoubles are twice as expensive as before. Fine. But you gave us HARD BREAD STALE SANDWICHES. Can barely even bite into it. That is ridiculous. I'm paying twice the price for it? It shouldn't be old and stale! I'm blind and I could tell so it is clear you all could too and just didn't care.
Thanks for ruining my night with your laziness. Back to slaving as a medical professional through covid for me, with absolutely nothing to look forward to.

Wish i could give zero stars . Every time i order here to pickup im ourside parked waiting over 30/44 mins til i go inside myself to a additional 25 minute way just for a kids meal !!!! Then when i get it its not what i ordered ! Employees literally cussing the manager out as she's screaming at them to do their job . And door dashers all trying to get there orders noone serves the counter and noone helps u . This location just needs to be drive thru only no pick ups no dine im they cant handle it. And its flithyyyyyyyy inside so why we ordering food someone call dhhs i know i am after this !

Grew up on this McDonald and the neighborhood of Ames. Before they had a rebuilt construction, it was a fine business, but after and ever since... They deserve to not be a business.
Now for the review.... I agree with every one star review that came before me, this business alone has a toxic vibes that wouldn't make me come back, ever. They're rude, incompetent, they double dip their fries in the fryer if you order fresh, otherwise they're always stale fries. My last straw was a door dash order of all things. They gave me a plain sausage biscuit and my receipt says sausage egg and cheese, practically wasted my money and the driver's time to deliver a half ass order with no care left behind. I'm a black man that supports any business that resides in the hood but McDonald's on Ames lost its passion years ago and it no longer deserves to be there. McDonald's on Cummings deserves all recognition of being a good business and everyone should go there instead.

employment does not care about your food order as long as they as paid. Constantly forgot my food, making me come back and was rude when i only asked for my burger and sauces that they forgot. She got mad bc she remade the whole meal when it was not necessary. Do not understand how this mcdonald’s is still open with how rude, offensive and disorganized they always are. Also, when i asked for extra sauce she charged me and gave me attitude when she didn’t give me the sauce when i asked and shut the window in my face. This lady should not be in management as this is not my first time dealing with her.
